Tamara was an amazing host, so friendly and chatty. The food was delicious. Highly recommend staying there.

We had an exceptional stay at Panorama Guesthouse Mata C. As a couple, we chose to stay in a dorm room for once, because of the great reviews for this guesthouse - and we never regretted it for a moment. The dorm is impeccably maintained (including two bathrooms and a lovely balcony with stunning views). The host, Tamar, and her (partly Svan) family (who spend summers in Adishi and the rest of the year enjoying an urban life in Tbilisi) is truly a gem and goes above and beyond for her guests. She is very caring and makes sure you feel safe and comfortable. Her cooking skills are exceptional. On a single burner, she served up a lavish feast for dinner and an outstanding breakfast. Pure, unique, and the most flavorful homemade food we had in Georgia. We also learned so much about the country and her culture from her. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tamar! An absolute must-stay along the multi-day hike from Mestia to Ushguli.

Hun satt med oss under middag og frokost og vi hadde lange interessante samtaler og Georgias historie, politikk og hverdagsliv. Verten snakker perfekt engelsk og har både lidenskap og masse kunnskap. Sengene var rene og komfortable, og det var ingen problem at det var dorm for verten var med på å skape en så god atmosfære bland oss som bodde der at vi ble en ordentlig fin gjeng. Maten var helt fantastisk, og verten kunne fortelle historien til rettene hun presenterte. Jeg anbefaler virkelig denne plassen til ALLE som ønsker å få historier og innblikk i livet og historien til de i Adishi, og i Georgia generelt, samtidig som de ønsker en god seng og et historisk område.
