Rather odd building a steepish walk from town, but cosy once you're in.

The flat has a nice cosy feel, like the actual owner was regularly using it, and there were nice things like games, books and local info. Useful supplies were left in the fridge. Seaside equipment was all there too.

Imprecise directions to where the keys were. It was a couple of roads away but the number in the long road was not given and it was too dark and murky to see the buildings properly, so I had to keep getting out of the car to see if the building I was looking at was the one they said. A What3Words address would have nailed it in one (to the extent of locating the actual keybox) Booking.com would you please encourage your people to use What3Words - postcodes are often useless. The blind in the main room was faulty and could not be lowered, so it was difficult to keep the place cool in the hot sun. One of the two locks on the front door started to fail so we stopped using it in case we were locked out at night (we tried to contact someone but were unable, having first encountered this in late evening and were getting worried until we managed to shake it loose.). The fridge would not close properly so items in the door-shelves went off quickly. The huge public car park across the road (which thankfully we did not have to use) was used by boy racers and hangers-around to a late hour. The "park-and-ride" bus which turned around there would not let us get on to go into town! And there was no other bus service here so we always had to walk. Good parking space but a long route to get to our floor, and no lift.

6 Coram Tower - A smashing retreat in Lyme Regis

Smashing location in Lyme Regis, a lovely little hideaway with great views, quite comfortable, good WiFi, good parking, a lovely welcoming gift bag, great local information and very compact, with practically everything you need. A bit of a hike up the hill, but it kept us fit! Would definitely stay again.

Just the mop in the hallway, the stinky mop that created an unpleasant smell that was permeating the entire flat upon arrival (Nevertheless, we just bagged it up in a bin bag, opened the windows and all was well within an hour).

It was clean.

Very poor value for money. Simple facilities, small rooms. If you are thinking about booking this, look very carefully. It is probably fairly priced at £200/night or below.

Great short break in a lovely little flat with fabulous views over Lyme Bay.

Cosy little flat, nicely decorated. Fantastic views of the sea from all windows. We had all we needed. Great location.

We could have done with a bit more cupboard space in kitchen to put the food we'd brought. The host has very generously provided all the utensils etc you could need, but left very little spare space. But that's just a tiny niggle on a lovely flat which we hope to visit again.

The bed was great as were the views..lovely little apartment.

Nothing really. The shower was too hot and couldn't adjust easily. Bath taps didn't work. No dvd player although advertised.

Lyme Regis: a special place.

A comfortable condo type accommodation with everything you need, almost. Good wine glassss and a better selection of cutlery and dishes would improve the experience. Parking in Lyme is hard to come so having a place to park was an excellent feature. Handy to Cobb and coastal path and grocery stores about 8 minutes by foot away.

Exquisite and bijou!

The location overlooking the sea from all windows was amazing! And for getting anywhere we wanted to go. The facilities were perfect for what we needed.

The shower was cold to start with and needed to put the water on a boost afterwards. Then it couldn't be regulated so hot. The toilet broke and we needed to contact the company but it was fixed within hours.

Lovely old building (with some history that was interesting to look into) in a stunning old town.

Very convenient location, 5 minutes walk from either the beach or centre of town

Rather hot at night and relatively noisy locals - but nothing that spoiled the stay
