Apartment 19

Everything was nice and comfy. We really liked our host, who was super friendly and easy to talk to. Even though our flight was delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night, our host was glad to help us and navigate to the property. As a bonus, she cooked for us a dinner. :)

Nothing serious, there was just some small flies by the fridge and by the window. But we cleaned them to the bin and it was not a big deal. During summer, it’s fully understandable.

Very good location and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. Very clean and spacious.

The host was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Our flight arrived around 2am and she still met us to let us in, which we really appreciated after a long journey. The apartment is in a great location, about a five minute walk to bars and restaurants and only a few minutes more to the city center, making it very convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the heating was already on when we arrived which was very nice since it was cold outside. The host was also flexible with payment, allowing us to pay the next day after withdrawing cash. She gave us helpful travel tips and even prepared some small traditional Georgian treats for breakfast our last morning before we left for the airport!

The main door is made of frosted glass, which lets quite a bit of light into the room at night from the yard light outside. If you are sensitive to light when sleeping, this could be a small inconvenience. A curtain or solid door might help improve this.

Lela and her family, including 2 adorable dogs and a friendly cat, were so welcoming and helpful. Lela even brought me a home-made Georgian dinner. The apartment is well set up and very central. It's just a few minutes' walk to the main centre, cafes, bridges, museums etc. There are several restaurants just down the back lane. This is definitely a great option for staying in Kutaisi.
