Perfect overnight stay near hiking trails!

The property was exceptionally clean, tidy, cosy and homely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the wifi worked very well, it was quiet, all facilities were working to a good standard. Only a few miles away from the hiking trails too. The host was very pleasant and responsive and super accommodating when I got delayed en route and had to pick up the key later than arranged.

I couldn’t fault it.

Wouldn’t recommend in its current state. Needs a deep clean.

We were disappointed as the photos were better than the actual apartment.

Window blind slat missing and the proprietor had hung toilet paper as a replacement. Only had the one window in the property and this looked straight onto the pavement so anyone passing could look straight in at the bed. Cutlery and crockery weren’t clean. Fridge very dirty. Bedding etc seemed tired. Can’t comment on how comfortable the bed might have been as we didn’t sleep in it. Positives were bottled water in the fridge and tea/coffee/milk sachets. However, we were so disappointed that it didn’t live up to expectations that we didn’t stay and decided to travel back home a few hours after arrival. Lesson learned.

Clean and functional in a great location

Bed was comfy and the room had all that was needed. Welcome hamper was a pack of oreos which wasn’t similar to what was in the advert. Fridge water was frozen on arrival too. Towels, toiletries and bedding was all to a good standard and most welcome on arrival after a long journey. Would recommend.

Convenient location for Brecon town centre. Plenty of free parking nearby. Friendly hosts. Well stocked kitchen. Good shower.

The front door was very stiff to lock/unlock. Lighting was not switchable from the bed. Very tiny washbasin (we used the kitchen sink instead).

The room was excellent and very well provisioned. The fish and chip shop next door where you collect the key delivered food to the room. Very friendly and relaxed.

The price is a bit steep for a solo traveller but that is more a problem with no suitable accommodation being available in the area.

Friendly host, nice little space, good location.

A few small issues during our stay - the blanket on the bed had a blood stain on it, the TV didn't work, which was a shame after a long day on our feet and the bathroom smelt of smoke.

Love the property and adore the location

The property is one room and a bathroom . The decor is relaxed and charming.There is a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. The bed was SO comfortable I didn’t want to get up. Our son was on the sofa bed which we couldn’t pull it out( to make into double) but he was fine as it was . Bathroom Shower was powerful and products provided .The property was right in town and very convenient for the shops , pubs , bars, cinema ,restaurants (We have to highly recommend The potting Shed in the town. It is an Italian and David the owner /chef produced the most fantastic food for the seven of us. In the local pubs we were made to feel most welcome by the locals . We definitely will be going back and this

At night The street light shines through the glass in the front door and is quiet annoying when trying to sleep. A door curtain would be adventitious. TV was a bit of a pain , kept reverting back to menu but could of been us not used to internet only TV. Neither of these things affected our stay to any extent.

Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped studio, with some special extras you don’t normally get when renting ie. slippers, welcome pack of biscuits and crisps, bottled water and milk. Host was very amenable, no problem when we arrived 30 mins early, he showed us in and explained how everything worked.

could do with a blackout blind or something to cover the window on the door as the light illuminated the whole room as dawn rose.

Considering I booked at very short notice, the host was brilliant, no problem with getting keys or parking the car. The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need…even a phone charging plug 👏🏻
