Great service and friendly hosts

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless, and the hosts were very welcoming. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the central location made it easy to get to the slopes. The owner even went out of their way to help us by changing a light bulb in our car — such kind and thoughtful service! Overall, a great experience, and we will definitely stay there again.

Meets all expectations and exceeds them

A wonderful place with excellent service and a delightful family atmosphere. Very clean rooms, personalised approach to guests, excellent food with service worthy of a fine restaurant. It was my first time at this hotel and I don't think I've ever experienced such a surprise in terms of expectations versus reality. It was great and we will definitely be back. It is immediately apparent that the family who runs the hotel really enjoys their work and generally likes people. This greatly improves the level of service and the guests' experience. Do not change a thing!

Great family-run hotel, centrally located and loving service.

The hotel is family run with lovely hosts. The hotel is very clean. I noticed the carpets are washed. The hotel is centrally located in Obertauern 50m to Gamsleiten ski lift. It is essentially ski-in ski-out. The hotel has a sauna space which is quite new though a tad small. The ski lockers are spacious with boot heaters in each locker. The half board is excellent. The dinner is professionally plated with a choice of dishes.

Not much to say. Perhaps some fresh fruit. Tea and cake in the afternoon.

Dream hotel

This is a truly wonderful small hotel, the kind of establishment one feared - wrongly! - no longer existed. Family run with enormous pride, attention to detail and great kindness, Hotel Tauernblick, and its lovely owners, far exceeded our high hopes. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-kept while the food was outstanding - imaginative, varied, superb quality, incredibly generous and, to the smallest detail, beautifully presented. In nearly 30 years of skiing, all over the Alps, this is the very nicest hotel we have stayed in and we would not hesitate to recommend. It should be much more than 3 stars and we very much hope to return next season.

Exceptional

A wonderful small family hotel with a warm, cozy and charming feel and an extremely polite and helpful owners and other staff. The location is right next to a grocery store, and around a 100m to the nearest skilift. There are heated lockers for your equipment and a nice sauna, the rooms are also very comfortable. The biggest surprise was the food, which was incredibly tasty, definitely on a 4 star level at the least. Would definetly reccomend.

Krásný rodinný hotel s velice příjemnou obsluhou. Naprosto dokonalé pětichodové menu. Super snidaně formou švedských stolů, čistota a pořádek v celém hotelu a mile mě překvapilo garažové parkování...sice dál od hotelu, ale pod střechou... :-)

Der Tauernblick ist jedenfalls empfehlenswert.

Die Lage des Hotels ist toll - im Zentrum und trotzdem ausgesprochen ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gepflegt, ebenso der Schikeller, wo jedes Zimmer über einen eigenen beheizten Spind für Schi und Schischuhe verfügt. Die Schipiste ist fußläufig in unmittelbarer Nähe erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig. Das Abendmenü ist wirklich empfehlenswert.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Het was geweldig!!

Locatie, grootte van de gezinskamers (18 en 19, waarvan kamer 19 wel veel groter was) de bedden, het eten, de hartelijkheid van de eigenaar. Eigenlijk alles!

Niet bevallen is een groot woord, maar in onze kamers (18 en 19, maar vooral in kamer 19) liep een balk boven het bed en het bad en als je groter was dan 1.74 cm dan stootte je constant jouw hoofd daartegen.

Die Lage ist ideal. Der Skilift ist gleich unmittelbar in der Nähe - keine Autofahrt. Die Hotelbesitzer sind sehr bemüht, dass es einem an nichts fehlt!
