Nestled into the Perthshire countryside, Chapelton Cottage offers spacious and comfortable accommodation. The perfect get away with beautiful views over the Vale of Strathmore; just 3.5 miles to the town of Blairgowrie. Ideal base for outdoor activities and close to Angus Glens, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and the new V&A Dundee.
4 golf courses nearby; great walks and cycle friendly roads and path network. Beaches at Lunan Bay and St. Andrews.
Relax on the patio in the evening sunshine or (well, it is Scotland!) cosy beside the wood burning stove inside!
1 Super King size bed that can be converted to 2 Single size beds.

We found Chapelton Cottage to be very suitable for my husbands wheelchair as there was plenty of room to manoeuvre. Liz was extremely helpful checking how high we needed the table, bed etc and providing a shower chair. The bed was very comfortable and the views amazing. The paths in that area seem to be kept in good order and we found most places had suitable path surfaces for wheelchairs. We will certainly return.

Did not disappoint! Photos can sometimes be misleading as to how truly isolated a property can be but this beautiful cottage is in the middle of a number of ajdoining agricultural fields with views to die for. Still accessable by car, however we didnt take the car out once as you will wnat to walk or simply hunker down with the fire in the thoughtfully decorated and updated thick walled cottage. Everything was pristine, plenty of room for ourselves and the dog, enormous accessable shower room and the garden and summerhouse a treat. You get the benefit of sunrises and sunsets and nice fresh linens and decor. Loved it!

The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once! Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location. We will definitely be back.

Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness.

We absolutely loved our short stay here. The cottage is lovely, garden is a real bonus. We especially loved the summer house on a sunny day with a cup of tea. Best thing for us was dog walks straight from the door in various directions. Excellent woodlands nearby to explore. Thank you so much!

The cottage is spacious enough for two adults, well equipped and clean. The furnishings were of a good quality and comfortable and the quality of the bed linen was good. The outlook is superb, although access was a bit difficult at the time of our stay, but this wasn't anything that the host could do anything about. Privacy was an issue as there are walking paths around the cottage and they were well used by dog walkers during our stay. The garden was well set out with patio furniture but unfortunately isn't fully enclosed which wasn't ideal for us as dogs off their lead ran into the garden. The host was very helpful and friendly.

We recently enjoyed a delightful weekend getaway at Chapelton Cottage. The cottage itself is charming and impeccably clean. It has everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a cozy fireplace, a comfortable bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and many other extras. We were fortunate with the weather and spent most of the evening time outside enjoying a BBQ and the massive firepit. The location was perfect for anyone seeking a getaway from the hustle and bustle and we would highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a tranquil escape. Liz was a great communicator and the little touches she left for us were greatly appreciated. We will be returning soon hopefully

From booking to coming home at end of the holiday I couldnt have asked for a more from a property or owned. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and cozy cottage, owned had excellent communication and standing offer to contact her should we have had any queries or information about local area and amenities, then she would warmly welcomed a call. Beautiful rural location with picturesque surroundings on all sides, local town within easy reach, ideally located for activities as well as peaceful relaxing days in (I particularly enjoyed reading a book with my morning coffee in the summer house at the top of the back garden. Pet friendly. We will definitely be booking to come again and explore Scotland during different seasons of the year from this ideal base.

The location is just absolutely beautiful & serene especially at night when all the stars are out and it’s so calm you could hear a pin drop. The cottage itself is so cosy & well equipped. We had a 3 night stay at Chapelton, The cottage was well equipped & comfortable, everything was as described in the description when booking, we had the dogs with us, they both settled down and enjoyed the surrounding walks.....we love Blairgowrie as a place and visit quite a bit but had the pleasure of staying at Chapelton cottage this time, to kick start our new year.......a 3 night relaxing stay was needed and enjoyed by all.
