Alpine Apartments - 2

I actually stayed in Flat A - It was clean, bright and well furnished with everything I needed.

FYI the floor standing light is not usable- no plug! The shower screen does not stay flush with the bath which means there is a tendency for water to go on floor which could be a problem for you. I wasn’t able to locate a switch to turn on bedside lights.

Kitchen was well equiped,comfy seating area and small table to eat at was good.

In some areas apartment needing paint freshened up.Though central to everything was right above fast food takeaway,smell of food constantly and heat in bedroom unbearable even though fan was provided.Could be noisy at times

The apartment is centrally located which is both a bonus and a problem. Although no onsite parking, there are carparks within easy walking distance on the same street and free on road parking only a few streets away. The bed was comfy and the kitchen reasonably well supplied. As useful info only, milk is not provided but there are communal teabags, sugar, instant coffee etc. No pod coffee machine. Large TV with app access to the usual streaming providers.

The apartment is over a takeaway with another one next door, so as it was fairly hot weather we couldn't have windows open in the afternoon/evening because of the pungent smell, making the apartment extremely stuffy. The window in the rear bedroom doesn't even open fully due to the blind. Also there are a significant number of customers who hang around outside the shop in the evenings either in cars playing loud music or sitting on the doorstep entrance to the apartment. Luckily the bedroom faces the other way. Some parts not as clean as we would expect.
