Amazing value for money, location is elite

Amazing value for money. The room was comfortable, everything worked, there was free water. However, the highlight is really the location: seconds away from the beach, Holy Tree, surfboard and scooter rentals - the works. We were here for 3 nights but you could very easily stay for 3 weeks.

Good location by the beach and nice scenery around. Hard to reach though since cars constantly miss the turns.

Unhelpful owner who didn't seem to speak much English. Door was broken and there wasn't even hand soap. Floor was a bit sticky. Was 20 minutes late for checkout and he threw all my things out.

beautiful private beach-front cabin that’s clean and good value for price

quiet beach front, wooden cabin-like nest which was very clean and unique. water and coconuts for use! private and quiet, this place is a special gem. i extended my stay and loved it…I will be back!

wifi is spotty and no hot water, but there is a cafe 10 second walk that has 24 hour good wifi.

So beautiful! 🌸💓🌿 Love this place, clean, quiet, comfy, with everything you need. It’s 50m from a great beach, surf spot, restaurant and coffee shop. The location, the garden and the lovely owner all deserve 5 stars. 🏄‍♀️ 🏝 ☕️ 🌴

no wifi (only from the next hotel). bathroom is a little bit old. many little open “windows” so many insects can come in (mosquito net around the bed though) no reception (you can write the host on WhatsApp)

worst stay in my life

the garden is fine

Nobody speaks English, everything smells bad and dirty, no toilet paper, one towel for two people(dirty one), sheets smells, used Razar on the toilet, ants and mosquitoes everywhere, loud music at night. and nobody was there to help and to speak with. we just wished the morning would come so we can leave.

I would love to stay the shady house again.

1. Located near to the Sumbul beach (right in front of), 5 minutes from the main surfing point by a bike. 2. The place having a beautiful garden. After surfing in the early dawn, you lie in the bed and can listen the sound of the leaves and a wind-bell swaying in the wind. 3. A friendly host and a very clean bed room. 4. There are the cafe serving tasty coffe and a ding repair shop in front of the shady house.

Good vibe homestay

Shady house is best place to stay in medewi area. Kind family of owner , good neighbor in town,,Because all the people near the homestay is kind, I can feel good vibe in this homestay. Nice garden makes me relax and happy. Room also clean and cozy. I like bathroom most of all because the wall made of wood and stone is so pretty. And medewi beach and sumbul beach are close to homestay. So you can go surf easily😀😉

Medewi è un posto in cui si respirano calma e tranquillità, e questo alloggio lo rispecchia appieno.

Ottima posizione, fronte spiaggia, ottima per raggiungere lo spot di surf direttamente a piedi, non il famoso point di Medewi, ma un beach break che in alcuni giorni fa onde davvero divertenti. Inoltre a pochi passi dalla struttura c'è un cafè/ristorante che è un pò un punto di ritrovo, dove il personale è molto gentile e dopo pochi giorni tutti conoscono tutti, creando un clima molto familiare.

Emplacement royal pour les surfeurs

L’emplacement à 50 m de la plage, la luminosité de la chambre, la literie, Omar qui nous a surclassé car la chambre réservée était à côté d’une autre en travaux donc bruyante

La mosquée a partir de 4h30 le matin Omar n’y peut rien mais c’est bon à savoir
