Haus Traun-Ufer - Riverside Townhouse

Christian the owner met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the property. He gave us some great insights into the local area and where to visit, as well as some options for eating out. I think its always a nice touch when the owner is there to meet you and help you with ideas and suggestions. The Home is a town house over 3 floors with a lovely veranda / balcony leading out from the front room overlooking the river. The area is very quiet around the house, but its only a 10 minute walk to the centre of town in Bad Ischl and all the amenities. We had the best sleep whilst there, as its so quiet and restful and I place i would happily return too as its an easy location to get around the Austrian Lakes from.

There is very little not to like about a place that looks over a river and mountains and is near a lovely little town, with its own amazing history.

Gleich zu Beginn wurden wir vom Vermieter herzlich begrüßt, welcher uns durchs Haus führte und uns erste Ausflugstips gab. Das Haus ist selbst für 6 Personen sehr geräumig, sauber und man hat alles was man benötigt. Zudem liegt es direkt am Fluss, Restaurants, Bäcker etc. sind fussläufig in 6 Minuten erreichbar. Wir hatten dort einen tollen Urlaub. Herzlichen Dank 🙏.

The house is directly located on the river side with direct access to the river and the center is 5 mins walking.

The house is three floors , not save for kids since the ladders are not protected/covered.
