Kreitalm - Kraftplatz im Salzkammergut

Es war alles einfach zauberhaft! Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Ausstattung ist super geschmackvoll und luxuriös. Alles da, was man braucht! Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und gaben uns Ausflugstipps. Traumhaft.

Da gab es nix.

Die Lage auf der Alm ist bezaubernd. Unten die Kühe und die Ziegen, oben der Wald. Der Blick auf den Traunsee und Traunstein ist überwältigend. Der Aufstieg auf die Alm ist etwas herausfordernd, allerdings wird dieser von Mal zu Mal einfacher. Die Sachen werden von den wirklich netten Vermietern nach oben gefahren. Diese sind auch immer erreichbar und ansonsten angenehm zurückhaltend. Besonders toll lässt es sich aus dem Hot Pott (auch bei Regen hervorragend) und der Sauna auf die tolle Gegend schauen! Danke für einen wirklich gelungenen Sommerurlaub.

הנוף מדהים. הבקתה מצוידת בכל מה שצריך והתקשורת עם המארחים הייתה טובה. זו הייתה השהייה הכי יוצאת דופן ומיוחדת שחוויתי בחיי. התחושה היא של פרטיות מוחלטת בלב הטבע אבל עדיין מפנק. אנחנו היינו בסוויטה הקטנה ובה יש אמבטיה מדהימה.

ממש ממש חשוב להבין שמהחניה לבקתה נדרש טיפוס תלול של כמעט קילומטר. (אנחנו פספסנו את זה). אם זה אחרי שקיעה אין אור בעלייה. זה לא מתאים לכל אחד. ואם אתם באים תביאו איתכם פנסים לעלייה.

The reviews for this apartment are going through the roof. And right so; the place has breathtaking views over the mountains, is extremely quiet and peaceful and has a very instagrammable interior. There is a bathtub placed in front of one of the windows overlooking the valley. There are two large windows in the roof that can be opened with the push of a button, and close miraculously by themselves as it starts to rain. In the garden there is a very well placed little sauna for you to use. Indeed a true find! But there is one thing I feel most of the enthusiastic reviewers don’t point out clear enough: the house is situated on a very steep alm that can only be reached by foot. So, you park your car half way up the hill, at the owner’s place, and walk up a very, very steep hill for some 15 or 20 minutes to reach the apartment. When we were staying there, in June of ’25, the temperatures were around 30 degrees Celsius. I can assure you, those trips up the hill were no walk in the park! These logistics are a very noteworthy aspect to consider in my opinion. So, to conclude: The upsides: • Excellent, 10 out of 10, views from the house and the deck • Silence. You literally only hear the birds chirping • The sauna (we didn’t use) and the modern, fancy interior • The fireplace inside (we didn’t use) and the bbq outside (we did use) and plenty fire wood The downsides: • The steep climb and the fact you have to carry your groceries (and your occasional bottle of wine) up the steep hill. • You really, really have to overthink what you need in the house, and what you need to bring on your trip. If you forget something crucial, you’re it! • The mattresses of the bed have seen better days.
