The villa is very clean, everything feels new and the staff is super friendly. The sunset from the room was amazing!

The only downside was the not-so-varied breakfast — it was the same every day, so a bit more variety would be a big plus.

The location and breakfast was great, and Toni was amazing!

This place was a great, family owned hotel. The staff was super friendly, and the hotel manager, Toni, was amazing (he was also cute). He made us feel taken care of, and he asked how our day was every time he saw us get back to our room, which we appreciated a lot!

The only small issue we ran into was that the Wifi was slow at times when the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was busy as everyone was using the same network. However, this was not too much of a big deal.

Wonderful, safe, clean family run hotel in the heart of Ksamil

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a spectacular view of the coastline. The rooms were spotless! Breakfast was quaint but definitely enough. The best part was Toni & his family/team as they were exceptional hosts. Super friendly & they have a great restaurant. Location is safe & walkable to anywhere in the area. We plan on coming back next year!

We couldn’t get the TV to work (we mostly just use the music channels while getting ready, not a huge deal). It would be nice to have a little bathroom stand for your soap/shampoo when using the shower.

Warm, Comfortable, and Local! Highly Recommended!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Hotel Vila Melina. The rooms were spacious and clean, with all basic needs like towels and shampoo provided. Items like cotton pads or slippers are not included, so best to bring your own. I'm not sure if there are rooms with balconies, but ours didn’t have one, still, the staff kindly provided hangers and space to dry our wet clothes, which was really thoughtful. There is private parking available, which is a big plus. Breakfast was varied, delicious, and filling. But what truly stood out was the dinner, the grilled meats were absolutely fantastic, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Definitely worth staying in to dine. They even offered us their traditional homemade raki, which was a special touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s a family-run place, and you can really feel the warmth and hospitality. It's not a big chain hotel and that’s exactly what we loved. We prefer supporting and experiencing local businesses like this. The location is great, just a 5–7 minute walk to the center and 8–10 minutes to the beaches. In short, a cozy, relaxed, and heartwarming stay. Highly recommend!

Very good stay in Ksamil

A nice Vila and the manager Toni has been very helpful. The room is very clean and brand new. It is well equipped to have a nice stay in Ksamil. We had a nice parking spot for our reservation. Breakfast is nice.

good accommodation, everything within walking distance, we were without a car. Tony is a wonderful host, always helpful, the restaurant downstairs has very tasty food, we will definitely visit again when we are in Kasmil

soundproofing, you could hear everything through the entrance doors, when you take a shower the water flows into the corner, even more as a recommendation: add hangers, glasses or cups because there is nothing to drink water from, and add a stand for toothbrushes, since they just lie on the sink

Better than expected

The hotel is family run, and our room was newly renovated with a private balcony. It’s in close proximity/walking distance to the nearby beaches etc. We had some issues with the wifi in the room but this was fixed the following day. Will definitely be back!

Perfect clean 10/10, everything is brand new. Owner is the best that I ever visited so far in my life. You can even order food to your apartament from the restaurant downstairs, they can bring it to you and you eat in the balcony with stunning view to the sea.

The location was close enough to a lot of beaches near by, as well as some good restaurants! The rooms were airy and comfortable, with amazing views. Toni was AMAZING. Answered all our questions promptly and solved all the queries as well as gave amazing suggestions.

Modern spacious room and convenient location

The apartment was very modern and clean, it looked like it was finished just a couple of days before we came. It was very spacious with big bathroom and terace. The staff was amazing and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was delicios. 10/10!

Pleasure of hospitality and cosyness

Very cosy room, nice bath room with a wall ceparating the shower and the rest which is not that often in Albania. Comfortable bad. Nice linens and towels. There is always a shade in front of the room so it was always normal temperature inside although outside it was more than +30°C. We were met by the son of the owners. Super helpful, friendly and charismatic young man. There is a grill restaurant on the same territory with delicious meals! The central beaches are within 10 min walking. Bunch of other restaurants and supermarkets are within 5 min walking distance.

The music in the restaurant stopped around midnight during our stay but it didn't disturb us. Someone else though might needed some ear-plugs. Nothing to do with the hotel but just an advice: the central beaches are extremely noisy - club music is everywhere and it is loud. 2 sunbeds and and umbrella cost 15 euro fir the whole dauly there. Those who need a quiet and beautiful spot should visit a beach Pema et Thatë, it is 5-8 min by car. As earlier you come as more pleasure you get.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel with two of my close friends, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly family who owns the hotel. Their hospitality and genuine kindness instantly made us feel at home. The apartment we stayed in was very good for our group of three and had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It boasted two spacious rooms and a kitchen. The overall cleanliness of the place was impeccable. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's location. Being just a short 7-minute walk away from the beach was a major plus. The hotel's own restaurant was so good! The breakfasts were absolutely delightful, offering a wide variety of delicious and well-served dishes. The lively and cheerful ambiance, brought about by the presence of their adorable little dog, was a lovely touch that added to the overall charm of the place <3 I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip with friends or family. Our group had an amazing time, we would gladly return for another memorable vacation :)

Highly recommend

I followed excellent reviews to book Vila Melina and i completely agree with the excellent reviews. Family owned and run hotel. Very warm welcome and sat and talked through Ksamil - what to expect and to do. The cost is very reasonable and I expected simple rooms but it was much more!! Beautiful decor - modern, style fittings. Everything felt brand new - bed, bathroom etc. Accommodation has Wi-Fi in room and a delicious breakfast included. The family are kind, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Even helped when I had no boat trip they made calls and sorted. They run a successful restaurant also. Clearly very popular as always busy even with members of public - not just guests. No pressure to eat there but food was lovely when I did. Special thanks to Tony and Eri - always kind and friendly. I will return for sure.

Superb

Our room at Vila Marina was recently renovated. It was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was the highlight. Tony is a great host and he is always there to provide any assistance and tips whenever we wanted. Vila Marina is in the main street and the Ksamil beach is short 10 min walk and there are plenty of shoppers close by. Breakfast is so delicious, specially their homemade jams

Friendly staff, delicious food in restaurant and good vibes.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Toni was very welcoming and pleasant and assisted us with whatever we required during our stay. He called us a taxi whenever we needed and when departing to another city. As I require a gluten free diet, he provided me a second breakfast as I could not eat the bread etc that was given during breakfast. The restaurant attached to the guest house is ran by the owners of the vila and has very delicious food and great service. The family were more than happy to wash my clothes as I was travelling for a while, so this was very kind of them.

It was noisy because our room was beside the restaurant. The blind did not go fully down in our room which was not ideal as it was beside the restaurant and it allowed light to be emitted in the room at night. The owners will be more than happy to resolve any issues however.

The friendliness of all the staff from cleaning lady to restaurant and bar staff. Special mention to Toni who deals with the bookings and speaks excellent English which was so helpful for recommendations for the best beaches places to go etc. The rooms are modern and immaculately clean with good air-conditioning and nice terrace. Overall I can't rate it highly enough we will definitely return to ksmali and villa melina.

So, honestly, this place has it´s own soul - Toni and his family. They are ale amazing, kind, willing to help... honestly, they will do anything so the host is feeling as a princess in the castle - even for guys :) Great location, rooms, house and their restaurant. Do not look for anything else or better, you won´t find it in Saranda area. Honestly!

Lovely stay in Ksamil

The room was huuuuuuge and really new. Beds were super confortable and the bathroom was big, new and clean. There was a terrace in the front, perfect for spending the evening. There was space for parking but we left the car in the street. The location was perfect for walking everywhere in Ksamil.

The staff was really kind but the communication with them was a bit difficult. We usually spoke on the phone with Toni, their son, but he was not there at the time. However we made ourselves understandable so there was no problem in the end. This is not their fault but it was already end of the season when we arrived in Ksamil and their restaurant didnt have many opcions for dinner. But at least it was open, thing that it cannot be said of most of the restaurants in the village.

Place on the main road, fairly close to the beach - but about 10min you have to walk. Suites next to the restaurant, guests sat (October) until about 10pm. Plus for cleanliness.

The room was pleasant, but dark. Very small and modest breakfasts. For a place next to a restaurant it's flimsy, and compares to 4 other places I've slept in during my trip. The owners unfortunately do not speak English at all.
