A cosy little hotel with a perfect blend of traditional modern vibe

I loved the location, the cleanliness, the security and the family friendly atmosphere. The hotel has a cosy vibe and so close to restaurants, deserts and coffee spots and supermarkets. The breakfast was fantastic and different every morning. The staff are friendly and happy to help.

The rooms didn’t have a kettle and mugs for the times you just want a cup of tea by the lovely little balcony they have.

Great location, great room, comfy bed, terrific breakfast and so nice and quiet.

The breakfast was wonderful, cooked to order eggs, lots of fruit, great coffee, tomatoes and cukes were so fresh. The bed was comfortable and parking was easy. Very walkable to the beach and very safe. Highly recommend staying here. Personnel were so nice. Thanks

The Ideal Place to Stay in Ksamil

We stayed for 10 days at Monel Hotel in Ksamil and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were sparkling clean every single day – the housekeeping is truly outstanding. The staff were always kind, professional, and ready to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond, recommending great restaurants, arranging a taxi for us at 5 AM, and making sure everything was smooth throughout our stay. Their friendliness and constant availability made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable each morning, and the hotel’s location is perfect – everything in Ksamil is within walking distance, including the beaches and restaurants. Overall, Monel Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way: cleanliness, service, location, and hospitality. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ksamil!

Overall, our stay was excellent, but a couple of details fell short of expectations. The Deluxe King Room we booked was comfortable, yet felt smaller than we had anticipated for this category. In addition, the automatic door system for “Do Not Disturb” and “Clean the Room” was installed but unfortunately not working, which was a minor inconvenience.

The location was great, just a small walk to the beaches, bars and restaurants. Was very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious every morning. The staff were very helpful and even let us check out a few hours later aswell as use of facilities until our taxi arrived.

Great value hotel in peaceful area.

Location was fabulous tucked away about 5/10 mins walk to centre . Quiet area. Rooms and hotel exceptionally clean and well maintained. Breakfast was brilliant - fresh and well prepared

Super small family run hotel - would recommend

This quiet family run hotel has 17 rooms and a high standard of customer care with friendly service. Breakfast is plated freshly each morning and superb. Comfy loungers by the pool but most important in a busy resort, it is slightly off the main beat of things, so quiet whilst the town and beaches are easily reached in a short walk. The hotel is very clean and each room has a good balcony. I would not hesitate to recommend and would gladly stay again if I was in the area. For the price this is a real find.

care needs to be taken with the shower cubicle which would benefit from a larger screen or curtain - a minor point

Couldn’t have found a better place to stay.

Just everything: friendly and supportive staff; 5-star structure and cosy environment. It really made the whole difference in our stay in Ksamil! One of the best places (if not the best) I’ve ever stayed having travelled more than 30 countries.

The shower box just should have a curtain or a means to keep it closed while we shower so we don’t splash water all over the restroom. That’s not a big deal though.

The professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The location of hotel is well placed to get around Albania Riviera

The TV in room required you to stream from your mobile unless you wanted to watch local TV but remote control wouldn't work so couldn't watch anything. Also, hotel rated as 4 star which. Just be Albania standards. By UK standard it was a 3 star rating

Spotless hotel!

Spotless, brand new feeling hotel. Lovely welcome from a young man who spoke excellent English and even sent us a whatsapp full of things to do during our stay which was a really nice touch. Close enough to the beach to walk, but far enough away to feel more peaceful than on the front. Breakfast was great.

If you have any dietary requirements just be aware that breakfast is served to you with no prior discussion. I really enjoyed it and was happy with this, but unfortunately my partner has coeliac and required a gluten free breakfast. We let the hotel know when we booked and messaged the day before to confirm, but she was still served a plate full of gluten and felt very uncomfortable returning the plate. The ladies who were cooking were wonderful and kindly made a gluten free plate, but if I was to return, we would remind them again as soon as arriving at breakfast. Also, limited English so ensure you have this translated into Albanian (we did).

Beautiful locaion and breakfast

We felt so welcome, the hotel is new, modern, clean and has lovely staff. They offer towels for the beach which is so helpful and is only a 5-10 min walk to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was the best part .... it was honestly amazing in a beautiful setting

Great place in Ksamil

The hotel is well situated, big rooms with the best shower in Albania. But the very best is the staff. Especially Gerard is always available for everything, friendly, guest-oriented. The beaches are close by and the street of the hotel is quiet. Enough free parking.

Lovely stay!

Very lovely and helpful staff. The location was excellent and the rooms were very clean. All in all, we had an excellent stay there, thank you!

They give you a lovely selection of food for breakfast but it is not a buffet so you don’t get to chose. It would be good for them to check if people have dietary requirements, like vegetarian, as one day the main part of breakfast had meat in it. If you have no dietary requirements, this is not an issue. The rest of the breakfast was lovely.

We really enjoyed staying at this small new hotel in a quiet area of Ksamil. The pool area was cozy, the breakfast great on the rooftop with varying plates. Staff was very friendly. Short walking distance to the beaches and restaurants.

Feeling disappointed

The room was big,clean,a small fridge but so necessary, air con, staff understand English

We had booked deluxe King room but it was like a standard room nothing special, no slippers(the floor being marble)the bed so uncomfortable, the breakfast is everyday different but is what they have not what you want so no vegetarian,no other options,they don't ask you if you have allergies,the tables are really small for eating, is really hot on the 4th floor where the breakfast is served,no restaurant so if you're hungry later no options just outside the hotel,the pool is just right next to the street and is same deep everywhere,small, no option to get a cold drink at the pool,the space for kids is just too small for swimming and in the same time dangerous,the reception is outside so no lobby to cool down after your trip, the internet not so good the signal was just off , we had some powercuts aswell they said is a power cut but it felt that they were doing it on purpose,the staff is ok, the location is not so close to the beaches you have to walk the closest one is principote, the trip from tirana airport to ksamil takes around 4 h so make sure if you want to have a pleasant trip stay in Sarande and just visit ksamil is just 30 min trip to it.

Very clean and great breakfast! Staff is super nice. Location is great, 10 min walk from the noisy neighborhood. We had a silent and relaxing stay.

Amazing stay, 100% recommend

The hotel was new, clean and the location was fantastic! A short walk away from the centre and 10mins walk to the beach. The owner was so hospitable and so kind, if we were to come back, I would stay here again. The breakfast was delicious and there were different choices everyday which meant I did not get board. The beds were clean, spacious and comfortable and there was aircon in the room which was fantastic because it was very hot. The owner was always on hand to answer any questions and called taxis for us when it was needed. We were so happy with our stay and 100% recommend.

Friendly environment, perfect place to stay in Ksamil!

Hotel Monel is a splendid place to stay in Ksamil. We have been so well welcomed by the staff, we could drop off our luggage before check-in which was so convenient. The location is perfect, so easy to walk around and get to multiple beaches. The breakfast were SO tasty, every morning something different. It was actually more like a brunch! We loved it. The staff is so nice, they would answer any questions/queries so promptly. We spent a few days at the pool, it was friendly, nice and quiet. Very relaxing time there, we recommend.

The staff were friendly, and very helpful, they allowed us to check in slightly before the allowed time as well as we arrived early. They looked after our suitcases on the last day whilst we went to the beach as well.

-very good and rich breakfast -the room was very big and clean, they clean it evey day and change the towels - free parking in front of the hotel - the personnel was very nice and kind - the pool was clean and with a lot of places to stay

Ohh, I wasn’t pleased with the fact that there was no wardrobe for guest to put in their luggage, the mini space created for clothes was so open and wasn’t comfortable.. Also there a need for them to provide a big duvet or Blanket that a couple can share together… the blanket was thin and seperate for each individual… didn’t like that idea … But the rest was so cool🥰

An Amazing Stay to Remember

We had an amazing time at Monel. I was traveling with my partner and we felt very welcomed by the staff. A special thanks goes to Redj, he's the kindest and most helpful guy ever. The location of Monel is exceptional. It's only walking distance to everything in Ksamil, but still outside of the whole mess near the main area. The rooms are very clean, and brand new, and the pool is simply amazing. Breakfast is the highlight and really something different, they always kept me looking forward to the next morning!!

The bathroom, although it's new, kept getting wet whenever anyone showered. It's due to space and water pressure, just make sure to be careful at the beginning.

Breakfast was fantastic, a fresh selection of fruits and a cooked element as well. The hotel was in a fantastic location with just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a selection of great restaurants. The staff were helpful and welcoming. We were given a great list of the best local places to eat as well as things to do in the area. Nothing was too much trouble!
