The Bothy - Feddinch

Just returned from our stay. It was just perfect. Off the track, yet still close to all amenities and St Andrews itself.

Our two boys loved the gardens and lucky enough we had the weather. The property was well equipped, there truly was nothing that we looked for, that wasn’t already there. I honestly couldn’t recommend this property. This property deserves every star it gains.

Lovely little house, had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing

The location was terrific allowing easy access to St Andrews , other Fife towns and all the local beaches. The property was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and had great parking facilities. The small garden was nice too. The highlight was its peaceful situation - it was great to be near the town but have that wonderful countryside isolation too,

I don't like to leave negative feedback but the house could easily achieve a 10 score with a bit of effort. The property needs a thorough clean, there were dirty windows and sills throughout, dust covered shelves, food scraps in the under sink cupboard and dirty cushion covers on the sofa. The garden furniture is filthy with green mould on every chair. The garden also needs some attention to address the rotting decking and large patches of stinging nettles.

The living area and quietness of the location

It was dated, the beds and linen need replaced, very stained and lumpy beds, had to move rooms from the ground floor, chosen for its location to the bathroom, as it had a musky smell and the beds where uncomfortable, also had to change the duvet on one bed as it had a double duvet in a single bed cover, also no mattress protectors, when I stripped the bed as asked to, the pillows where brown
