Nice economical hotel in great location, great for groups or families.

- really outdated rooms (very old, not enough plug-ins to charge phone, etc, bathroom with two hand water mixer over the toilet - bit camping feeling, little hotel enjoyment)

Friendly staff, close location to Stelvio (I travelled to climb that iconic Pass with my bike, very good breakfast selection! I paid half board, but the dinner was in another hotel (approx. 5-8 mins walk). The dinner selection was exceptional. I enjoyed staying here... And the scenery is astonishing! Will return for sure :)

It is not really a negative thing for the hotel, but expect some rough nights till you get used to the high elevation. I have never been on such high altitude and my first night was terrible. Insomnia, headache, severe thirst all the time. It got better for the 2nd night, but give yourself some time to acclimatize.

Stayed for two nights, good value and breakfast was plentiful with large selection.

Right in the centre of the village and staff were excellent and friendly.

The property was good although there is no lift, if you have issues with stairs ask for a room on the first floor.

Breakfast was poor. Really disappointing. Very bad water pressure in shower/bath. You expect to be in the Hotel Garni, not shunted off to the 3rd floor of a neighbouring building.

Location is great. Reception staff is friendly.

We booked a room with 4 bunk beds. Originally we were going to stay with 2 people. I messaged the hotel 4 days before arrival, that we wanted to book for an additional person. Upon arrival we were taken to our room, which had one double bed. Back to reception. Then we were taken to another room. The receptionist initially didn’t know where it was located in the hotel…. It turned out to be a double bed and one single. Not what we booked! Rather than taking our passport number, the receptionist took pictures of our passports because the scanner was broken. This is not allowed and unprofessional. At 8:00 in the morning the cleaner simply walked into our room without waiting after her knock. When we checked out we were asked to pay an additional €50 for the third person. Having worked at the reception of hotels myself, I spoke to the manager to offer the hotel an opportunity to prevent this review. She told the receptionist (on the phone) to take €10 off without speaking to me to see if I was happy with the solution. After our disappointing and unprofessional experience, I would argue this hotel is very poor value for money and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Hotel exceeded our expectations

Our rooms in Alpin Spa Hotel die Post were much better than we'd expected. Excellent view from the balcony, big and nice territory, where you can have an evening walk, really rich and tasty breakfast with a large selection of food. This hotel definitely will be option n.1 for future travels in this region.
