Staff were lovely and helpful
There was no lift, so you had to carry you luggage, up three flights to the room. Beds could do with new mattresses. More storage in the bathroom and bedroom.

The hotel was located pretty close to the event I was attending, so it was great to know I had a place nearby to go afterwards. It was good value for money and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was also great.
As happens with old buildings, the floor in the room had a slope... meaning that the bed had a slight but noticeable slant to one side. There's not much the hotel can do about something like that, but I did wake up with one heck of a backache.
