Not enough tea and milk

Not a lot
It was a long way from town. I think they were just running the property down to sell.

Location fine, basic breakfast available (porridge, tea coffee) plus some cooking facilities
Walls thin and has luck would have it noisy neighbours

A traditional guest house which was warm, clean, comfortable and perfect for my couple of days exploring the local area. Being dog friendly is a massive bonus. All the staff I met were helpful, friendly and left me to get on with my stay. Basic cooking facilities in the residents lounge are great for those looking to save some money by not eating out! parking close by across the street- not many spaces free but managed to find one..
Nothing really, the shower facilities were reflective of the age of the guest house and price paid

College Guest House is a functional and 'no frills' option for the budget traveller. Rooms were fine for what I needed, my en suite room had a basic shower that was hot.
Beds and bedding were pretty basic, thin sheets. The shower is not amazing pressure and a little small, but did the job. Breakfast option very limited (packets of microwave porridge), but better than nothing.

Clean and warm and cosy, it was particularly quiet, considering the creakiness of the floors.
The lack of powerful USB or USB-C charging points in the room, for £65 a night, You'd expect a lot more.

This is my second visit to The College Guest House and was equally happy with my stay.Super friendly host, great location with convenient parking, and dog friendly with no extra charges for pets.

Clean, friendly owner, close to parkrun, had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
The double bed was a little uncomfortable - thin mattress.

We never got the chance to find out what the Guest House was like, but I'd say it would be rubbish. We drove from Plymouth to Haverfordwest, via some site seeing and we were running late for an 8.oopm check in, so I rang and got a taped message. I rang 2 or 3 times more and got no response except the taped message We arrived at the premises at 9.30pm. rang the bell long and hard 4 times, banged the knocker, called out through the letterbox and rang 2 different numbers twice each. We were utterly exhausted by our big day and a very kind Neighbour told us to try The Mariners. The night manager told us it wasn't the first time it had happened. When we got to the Receptionist, gave us an upgrade for 200.00 for the night with breakfast. We collapsed into bed at 10.30pm. The next morning after a lovely breakfast, l walked around to try and find out what was going on and to ask for a refund. My poor husband was still asleep in bed at this stage.
I rang the bell 3 or 4 times, banged the massive knocker twice and rang the actual number for the house. Nothing
To say we were pissed off is an understatement and we would like a full refund of our $130.00, but given their "SERVICE", I don't like our chances. I wouldn' t even recommend them to someone I didn't like. .If it hadn't been for the Mariner and how kind they were, I don't know what we would have done. The 2 ladies at The Mariner, even carried our bags upstairs, for us, because they could see how exhausted we were. Seriously not happy.
See above.

The room was fine, a little small but ok for our purposes. Had a fridge and a kettle which was useful. Shower was hot and had good pressure. Location is easy walking to town, just be aware that is it uphill on the walk back!
As per other reviews the property is a little dated and would benefit from a bit of tlc eg the lamp in our room was broken and the pillows were very thin (we used 2/3 each). Pauline mentioned that she is running the Guest House on her own so things like the bed being made each day just didn't happen, again not a massive issue but.

Charming Georgian Townhouse in great location with super friendly host and ample parking close by.Spotlessly clean, lovely big double room with large sash window.Close to local restaurants and shops, cost just £5 for a taxi to a fabulous place for dinner the other side of town as we all fancied a few drinks.Pet friendly and didn’t charge any extra costs for our dogs which rare these days so great value for money

Parking close, one bed comfy, the other lumpy.
Had to ring mobile to access property -which we did but no answer, so knocked the door knocker and doorbell-lady had a go at us for not ringing mobile then proceeded to tell us she was on hold on mobile! Up 3 flights of stairs. Old fashioned place, needs some tlc. Bedding needs refreshing as out dated and looking washed out

Staff was pleasant tea and coffee and fridge in the room and the fan was working well. The room was peaceful and we enjoyed watching the football on the TV which worked.
There is no on site parking. We had been delayed so arrived after the event we had travelled to see which meant we were able to park for free in the public car park across the road until 9am. Luckily it had rained bringing down the heat but the room was hot and the fan was definitely needed. A lot of stairs to climb.

My stay made me feel like a time traveller. My room in the grade 2 listed house was large comfortable but with antique furniture and decorated ceilings..really quaint and walking distance from the centre of the regency town of Haverford West.

All I wanted was room and a bed for the night and that’s what I got.
The room was big and the bed was really comfy, I slept soundly. The shower was brilliant. There is free parking, but just across the road was a big carpark and it was about £3. The manager Colin was cheerful and friendly. The hotel is looking a little tired but this didn’t put me off in the slightest and I would use again if in the area.

Great position and very clean
Shower was a bit outdated and the beds were small. It may just have been the twin as a friend in a double said his room was very comfortable

Great location, a two minute walk from Haverfordwest Leisure Centre and 5-10 minute walk to town centre.
Lovely character building. My room was spacious, airy and extremely clean. Shower was great. Bed, very comfy.
Large communal sitting room with fridge, microwave, crockery and cookery. Complimentary breakfast comprising cereal. I’d strongly recommend a stay at College House.

The property was interesting due to it being a listed building. Chosen more for location and parking for a short one night stopover with en-suite facilities. The owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty.
Lighting in bedroom was very poor. Dim main light and small bedside lamp. Some orange juice with breakfast would have been nice.

very odd decor and mismatched furnishings
