Marita's Apartment - Dikastirion

Pidimme huoneiston avaruudesta ja kahdesta isosta parvekkeesta. Samoin huoneiston varustelu oli asianmukainen, jopa pesukone löytyi ja sitä myös käytimme.

Tiskialtaan kuumavesihanasta ei tullut vettä. Toisen makuuhuoneen ilmastoinnissa oli jokin vieras ääni. Pesukonetta ei ollut tasapainotettu, joten se liikkui käytettäessä. Keittiöstä parvekkeelle johtavaa ovea ei saanut lukkoon. Mikroaaltouunia kaipasimme (se myös säästäisi sähköä sähköhellan uuniin verrattuna).Tapasimme omistajan kerran, mutta olisimme halunneet tavata hänet vielä ennen lähtöämme, jotta olisimme voineet kertoa suoraan hänelle havaitsemamme puutteet.

Fabulous location, Giorgio was incredibly helpful & kind he let us check out late on our final day as well as providing travel tips. The apartment is big & it was great being able to wash clothes & then hang on a line in the sun. We also highly recommend the restaurant downstairs really good food.

I don’t see this as a negative but it is an older apartment, which may not suit everyone.

Appartment big and comfortable. It is located in a busy neighborhood, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Just below is greek restaurant. It's around 10 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes from old town and bus station. Owner is very helpfull and supported us during our whole stay.

This is busy neighborhood so it can be noisy. There is a restaurant just below the appartment. Take your ear plugs if you want to sleep comfortable.

This was one exceptional property that we stayed in during our visit to Crete. We arrived late at night and were promptly met outside of the apartment by Giorgios, the manager. I had established contact with Giorgios from the time I had booked this apartment and he was very very helpful (from the beginning till the end) in providing all kinds of information at pretty much anytime. The apartment is well situated , in the centre of Chania town, opposite the Dikastiria and right above a grill place and close to all amenities. The apartment itself is quite spacious, with lots of room (living, separate dining, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (with a washing machine), two bedrooms and two large balconies (front and back) and with plenty of storage space, good wi-fi and many a plug point (extension block) in all the rooms. We couldn't have asked for more and felt so much at home and it was nice to have all that space, something that we haven't come across often during our travel and it's a pity that we couldn't spent much time inside, enjoying the comforts as we were out most of the time. I would definitely consider staying here during our next visit to Crete.
