I didn't meet the hosts. The gite met my expectations and they kindly let me put my motorcycle in the patio off the road. Very handy for most things in town. All just a short walk away.
I have never been asked to remove bedding, sweep and hoover before leaving an accommodation before and I have stayed in hundreds of accommodations over the years (I am getting old). Glad to say I couldn't find a hoover....
