Quality house completely renovated, located in St Come de Fresné in the heart of the landing beaches. This house is quiet and can accommodate 4 people.

It is made up of:

- a fitted and equipped kitchen, open to a living room with a 140 cm wide BZ bench seat

- a bedroom with 1 140 cm bed

- a bedroom with 2 beds of 90 cm

- a bathroom with shower

- a separate toilet

- a large garage

It also has a 40 m2 tiled terrace and a car park for 2 vehicles.

It is built on a plot of 500 m2 fully enclosed.

A lovely week in a beautiful part of the world. The location is ideal for exploring the wider area, but there is plenty to do locally with a walk to the beach or into Arromanches. The house is very well equipped and comfortable and has everything you could need.

We spent a wonderful week here as a family. The house is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities a family could need. The beach is very close, as advertised, and the location as a whole is just fantastic for exploring Normandy. Central for areas of interest but comfortable and quiet for a relaxed evening, we would definitely like to visit again.

The house is set along a quiet road looking out onto peaceful countryside. It is airy and light, well furnished, with all modern conveniences, including a secure garage. There was plenty of storage for our personal property, and the house was secure, spotlessly clean and our hosts were very friendly, meeting us on arrival, and guiding us around the property - giving us useful information about both the property and the surrounding area. The sea and a fabulous beach was a five minute stroll away, and we were able to walk to and from both Arromanches and Asnelles several times. Bayeux is twenty minutes away, and Paris (via the train), just over 2 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would be delighted to recommend both it, and M and Mme Francoise, to other potential guests.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, nice communication and welcome from host. Perfect location, easy to walk to beach, town and historical monuments, and to access supermarkets and Bayeux by car. We had a wonderful time.

We were met at the property by Roland and his wife. They were both very friendly and welcoming. They explained various features of the house and gave us advice on the best locations for supermarkets and bread shops. The house was spotlessly clean and the kitchen exceptionally well equipped. The location is quiet and peaceful. The property has excellent views of countryside from the rear patio. There is a short walk down into Arromanches. The path is a steep hill but the views of the bay and the remains of the Mulberry harbour make it worthwhile. We had a wonderful week with many pre-breakfast walks along the beach to Asnelles, stopping for a coffee and pastry on the way back.

Extremely pleasant hosts, v comfortable property, v clean and all the amenities you could possibly need. Super location for visiting the beaches and museums relating to DDay which was the purpose of our visit. Lovely garden with great views. V quiet and peaceful location and few minutes from a sandy beach. At low tide, a great walk along the beach to Arromanches-les-Bains. We highly recommend this property.

Excellent Gite

We were 100% happy with the gite and location. The view from the rear of the gite across the fields of corn and the cattle grazing is wonderful. Seeing the buzzard and hearing the song birds enchanting. It's a good location for the history of WW 2 and Bayeux is quite near. We took advantage of cycling through the countryside and stopping for lunch at the local restaurant which excellent. Our host Roland and his wife were very helpful and very pleasant.

Fantastic & well located property

We have revisited this property again following our visit in 2016 which was great. This is a lovely bright and clean, well appointed bungalow in a quiet hamlet with great views out the back and not overlooked. It is positioned in an ideal place to visit all the D-Day beaches & museums and also the fabulous coastline which we all think is stunning. We would be more than happy to stay here in the future should we return to this part of France.

This house is near Arromanches, perfect location to visit the the D-day beaches, memorials and musea. 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. The house is very nice, clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, sattelite tv (mainly french channels), clean shower cabin, 2 bedrooms with good matrasses, a garage and above all a splendid country view, even the sea can be spotted from the garden. The only minor is there's no Wi-Fi available. Omaha and Sword beach are at 20 minutes drive, Utah / St Mere Eglise around 50. Don't forget to visit a war cemetry to pay respect to the people who gave their lives for our freedom. Worthwhile are the 360 degree cinema and debarkation museum at Arromanche. Absolute must see are Point du Hoc, Batterie de Crisbecq (huge restored artillery complex near Utah beach) , the Pegasus bridge and the Gondree café (go inside and see it's amazing collection of photo's, attributes, there's even an original note from Lord Lovat). Mont Saint Michel is about 150 km and is definitly worth a visit as well. We stayed for a week with another couple and had exceptional good wheather. Thanks Roland for staying here!

Stunning and very well located

Stunning and very well located

This property is excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our week here. It is very well equipped and immaculate inside and out, with great views from back of property over fields with on site car parking also. Phots are accurate and description is also correct. It is also well positioned for exploring the Normandy coast and World War II beaches which was the reason for our visit, as all are within an hour drive, Utah being the furthest, including a visit to Honfleur, which is a beautiful town. If you want a very clean, well equipped property which is centrally located - this is the one. Roland and his wife were very helpful and prompt with any queries before and during our stay. There is a bar/café which serves food only 5 to 10 mins walk and Arromanches is very close offering a choice of restaurants too. We all ahd a great week here and if we were to return we would stay here again...... Could not speak more highly of this property, one of the ebst we have stayed in during our several holidays in France.

Lovely house, very clean and very well equipped. Nice rural location with lovely views. Ideal base for touring Normandy and lovely house to return to in the evening. Very relaxing holiday, nice to play chess and board games in the evening as no wifi or english tv which wAs great, even our 15 year old did not miss it! Owners very friendly, helpful and welcoming. This beautiful house was quite simply the best gite we have ever stayed in. M and Mme Francoise were friendly, welcoming and very helpful, and facilities and equipment were immaculate. The area is lovely, the history of it is spell binding, and we were never bored. It is highly recommended.

La maison est tout confort et au calme ! A 800 m de la plage! Les commerces à quelques mn en voiture. Bref, c'est idéal! Quant aux propriétaires, ils sont parfaits! On a beaucoup apprécié leur réactivité lors de nos différentes questions d'avant voyage et leur sympathie lors de notre rencontre. On recommande à 100%.

Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, salle de bain avec rangements, lave linge, chambres confortables , même barbecue et salon de jardin!
