Good location for skiing with frequent connection by shuttle to the slopes, very clean apartment, fresh fruits at arrival, kitchen very well equipped, easy parking, nice Mountain View, very quiet place, no traffic noise.

The apartment needs being newly decorated, it looks like in the 80s. There were too few lights in the living room.

Wonderful Stay

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Grindelwald. From our balcony, we enjoyed an outstanding view of the magnificent mountains, with even a glimpse of the glacier. There was free parking right next to the apartment, which was extremely convenient for us as we were traveling by car. We stayed for three nights with our two dogs, and the accommodation was exceptionally pet-friendly. Upon check-in, we were welcomed with treats, dog blankets, and food bowls, which was a lovely touch. Check in process was very smooth and the staffs were friendly. The apartment was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and relaxing, and we felt completely at home. We would highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Great location , english tv chanels for early nights , homely feeling comfy beds , staff very helpful

The only thing i would say which is a matter of opinion the pillows were so soft we had to fold them in half . And you gave to carry your case up stairs to get to appartment .

Simply stunning - so we booked 2 extra days

Definitely the best views in town - we were dumb struck at the stunning mountain scenery and huge size of our apartment! We have stayed in Grindelwald before and really like the location of Kirchbühl as it’s slightly up from the main town - making it more tranquil - whilst only a short stroll in / or you can take the shuttle bus! We walked to terminal station everyday and back as we were getting some early season sking in! This town tops Zermatt as it’s just so relaxed and the slopes quiet in early season - we just love it! The train is great for trips down to interlarken etc so lots to do - we will definitely be back next year! The team here are super cool and helpful as well - they even picked us up from the station x

Lovely and peaceful stay.

Everything you need for a few nights’ stay, including essential cooking facilities, is provided. The location offers a great mountain view and is quiet and peaceful, as it’s a bit away from the main street. The road is a bit steep and can be dangerous during winter (it may not be suitable for those who can’t walk or hike much). However, for us, it’s perfect because we enjoy our journey walking.

At first I was thinking to change the room. But in real was more than expected. Maybe some decor in the future to feel more welcomed would be mine prefer. The view from the apartment was to die for. It have been no many tourist around the place so was a very nice feeling to have a beautiful nature almost to ourselves.

Steps from a Spectacular View

The apartment was just as specified, with a spectacular view. We love that we could just sit inside and or on the front porch as look at the Beautiful Alps rising above. Great pick up and drop off at the train station.

Sensational views from balcony

The views were definitely the highlight of this property. Sensational. It was within walking distance of town if you don’t mind a bit of an uphill slog coming back up. Convenient and good price.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful view. Plenty of space for our needs. They offer a shuttle from the train station to get your bags to your room, which is good because they are up a very steep hill. We could easily walk into town and to the train station, but again- note that it’s a steep hill down to town and up to the property. You’ve got to be in decent shape to walk it. The town was great and there’s a lot to do nearby. This location was great for us while we enjoyed Grindelwald.

Value for money with excellent views.

We had booked apartment no 547. The view was excellent and size was good with fully equipped kitchen And modern amenities

The location is quite far from the Grindelwald station about 20 minute walk . They do provide transfer when arriving and departing.But the daily walk to and from the apartment is quite a walk with steep roads but the view makes up for it . One can take the local bus to commute though. No daily cleaning.

Perfect stay!!

The communication pre arriving between the company and us was great, they answered any queries we had in a timely manner. We were picked up from the station and taken back to reception to checkin, all the information we needed was provided. The self contained apartment was great. Had everything we needed We shopped at the local supermarket which is a 10min walk or you can catch the local bus. Keeping in mind no buses run after 7pm, then you have to walk slightly uphill. Communal washing machine available which was useful Our view was exceptional!! Lovely to wake to the mountain view every morning

Memorable Stay in Grindelwald

Beautiful location. A 10 minutes walk to town with uphill climb on the way back. However, there’s town bus that is free, which you can ride that stops very close to apartment or hotel. Well equipped with kitchen appliances, utensils, cooking wares, dishwasher detergents and trash bags. Feel very safe and very peaceful

If you check out early, there is no help bringing luggage from apartments to hotel receptions if you need to be picked up there. Not hotel’s fault, understandable- just FYI

Lovely place n great staff

The property is beautiful indeed.. Lovely view and scenery all around.

Not sure if it is fine with everyone to walk on the mountains as it is little on the height and involves walking on the steep mountain although it is next to the mkt. Must to mention the lady Kira at the reception was awesome.. But really felt bad when her manager was literally shouting at her.. And that too in front of the guests at the reception on the day of our checkout. Its sad to see how the staff was treated by their managers.

We loved our stay here!!!

The apartment that we rented (Roi) had a spectacular view of the mountains! We loved sitting on the balcony looking for birds and watching the sun set on the top of the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked and though there wasn’t air conditioning, opening the windows at night helped a lot. There wasn’t air conditioning a washer and dryer on the lower level. Depending on what kind of mattress you like, it was very hard which I don’t like but my husband was okay with it. The staff was lovely and very helpful. They also had a free shuttle for arrival and departure from the train station and a bus stop right outside their driveway. We absolutely would stay there again if we ever came to Switzerland!

Nice apartment with a great view

Apartment is very clean and very well equipped. Staff is very nice and the views from the terrace are amazing. Location is also good, you can walk for 15 minutes to the centre, or take a bus that is free of charge because you get a guest card which you can use for a free bus ride. That card also provides some other discounts.

Flies were unbearable. They were everywhere, in the room, on the terrace, in the night, in the morning. It could be great if something could be done to solve this because it would definitely improve the experience. Also, some of the furniture could use a bit of updating, and the carpet seemed a bit worn and might benefit from being replaced. These are just minor suggestions for an otherwise very good stay.

Everything. Views. Chalet itself. Apartment was clean with all required kitchen facilities and comfortable rooms. Located near Grindelwald view point. May be best view of Grindelwald from windows plus balcony. Staff was polite and professional. Didn’t had breakfast included or tried restaurant, although it did look cozy and nice.

It was bit of a walk uphill from train station in case you miss the bus. The walk path is cute we enjoyed it , although sometimes it was tiring if you had a busy day. It’s near bus stop. Bus frequency was less (half or sometimes 1hr; no bus after 7pm; not sure if schedule changes seasonal basis ) . Shuttle was provided for check in and check out.

Good view but inaccessible

View was amazing. We especially liked the balcony where we could relax and enjoyed view of the alps.

Rather inaccessible without transport. Far to walk from the train station. It didn’t help that the property was way up at the end of a steep slope. It could be slippery to walk down when rain. And it’s strenuous when you have to carry your groceries up. There is a bus to the bottom of the slope but it stops operating at 6pm. We were told of a short cut to the city centre but you would still need to walk down another steep slope. Property provides free shuttle only for check-in and check-out. The rest of the time, you have to walk back to the property.
