Adequate room with good balcony in excellent location

Excellent location for staying in Melnik. We recommend the local wine, particularly the Melnik 55. Our room had a pleasant terrace. Good shop underneath with better value wine than elsewhere in the village. There are good breakfast options, although not included in price of room.

Colour scheme and furnishings were quite dated and the room was very small

Enjoyable and relaxing stay in a pretty mountain village.

Small family run guest house. Very friendly and welcoming. Our room was simple, clean and comfortable with a balcony looking over the picturesque main street. The restaurant served tasty traditional Bulgarian food and the small grocery store was really useful too.

Perfect location, reasonable rates, available restaurant and a grocery store. Our room had a balcony with fabulous view of the town.

This apparently used to be an old home. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are even smaller. They have done a great job remodeling it

The window is without the netting, When open the window, the insects will come in.. Very poor soundproofing - can hear the other guests go to toilet or take shower.

The restaurant offered great food for cheap. The staff was amazing, very friendly and communicative. Our room was on the small side but it wasn't too cramped. Great location right in the center.

The location is great, on the main street close to all restaurants. The wifi was very good.

There was just one towel per person, we asked for a small one as well but they said they cannot provide. The bathroom didn't have good ventilation.

Very good

We stayed at Hotel Mario which is located on the road to Rozhen, while other part of the Mario facilities is within Melnik. Location was calm and quiet, owner didn't bother us at all - in fact we saw him at the check-in and check-out only. Being a bit distant from the Melnik restaurants is an advantage to me. It takes a 5-10 minutes walk to reach the city center. The hotel is excellent value for money.

Very satisfied. The room was clean with a view to the main road. We had a marvellous dinner and a perfect breakfast. The lady in reception is very polite and helpful. She is amazing. Whenever you need her she is there. Great value for money. We will return...

Room quiet, spacious, with a comfort acceptable, although a bit dark underground. Host very friendly and welcoming. Excellent dining-room.

The staff speak minimal English but are super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The onsite taverna is good value and open for breakfast.
