We tend to stay in this area when visiting Venezia. It is quiet and full of cafes and restaurants, a shopping street nearby but away from the tourist bustle. Our room (which was a budget one) was nice, clean with high ceilings, nice quiet courtyard and area to sit if you wish to do so, although it was extremely hot during our stay. In the evening, the access to the rooms are restricted and you need a code to enter the premises. Also you are near Giglio stop on the water boat which is great and about two stops from Ferrovia if you are taking the train to your next destination.
Our room could have been a little wider (enough space to open the door). We had issues with the plugs, as the charging was slow, and we ended up buying an Italian plug but even with that the plugs are loose. The mini bar in our room was not a mini bar but a mini fridge as it was empty.

The property was great. Quiet area but close to all the amenities and sites in Venice. The concierge was amazing, he provided wonderful suggestions, helped make reservations at restaurants and even called around to help me find things I needed personally.
