The hotel looks old but inside is not very old and clean. We don’t choose share bathroom usually but it was not bad. Very clean. Also, it’s in very convenient place.

The room was comfortable. The Bathroom was shared among ALL the guest. To take a shower, you had to notify the man at the front desk. When going out , was told had to LEAVE the room key at the hotel, could not leave with it. Was told had to be back before man at the front desk went to bed. After spending a few hours walking around Venice in late June, arrived back at 11:30 and wanted to take a shower. The man at the front desk begrugingly obtained and towel and made the show ready, commenting a few times; "Its 11:30" and didnt hide his aggrivation that a guest at the hotel wanted to take a late shower. Felt like I was treated like a kid in a dorm with a dorm "dad" rather than a paying hotel guest in his 50's. The location is very good, the room was a nice size and the bed comfortable.
