We loved the roof top swimming pool, which was beautiful! The terrace was gorgeous too.

Our room was a bit dated and the bathroom was a wet room rather than a bathroom with a bath or shower. The bathroom also didn’t have a lock on the door.

Having had our early morning flight home postponed by 24 hrs in the height of the season, we were lucky to get two rooms at the Splendid and arrived very shortly after having made the booking. It was only mid morning and I explained to the staff at reception that my daughter is neurodivergent and we’d appreciate a call while we were out to let us know at soon as it was possible for her to use a room to quietly decompress. They kindly told us to wait at reception and they’d see what could be done. We were so grateful when some 40 minutes later a room was ready for her and over 3 hours before official check in!
A stressful morning turned into a lovely extra day in Nice and ended for my husband and I with delightful wine and tapas in the rooftop bar. No hesitation in saying we’ll be back and would highly recommend the Splendid for comfort, service and kindness!

Location
Needs to updates, smell in room, old carpets. Refreshmans and toiletry wasn’t fullfed every day. Last night we got only 2 bath towels when we had room for 3 adults
