Superbe machiya contemporaine très confortable avec petit salon ou chambre en bas , kitchenette et salle à manger , grande chambre /salon à l’étage , superbe baignoire avec vue sur mini patio , une déco all black minimaliste simple et belle à la fois

Location is a bit away from Kyoto shopping/going out area but good connection with public transport.

It was lovely to stay in a traditional house and a typical residential neighbourhood.
I don't believe the bath had been cleaned.

The staff were nice at check in
The location is ‘countryside’ as a neighbour put it! No restaurants no coffee places, far from anything until we found the 207 bus stop near by.The dim lighting! so difficult to cope with! Why is it so dark in there? even during the day. The bathroom is musty.There is room for a soft couch under the stairs, instead the people sleeping downstairs had rock hard stools.
