Menzel Villa Ubud

Amazing setting, beautiful. Breakfast setting was amazing. Liked being able to order breakfast rather than buffet. Lovely staff. Spacious 3 bed villa over 2 levels.

Found it strange that the main bedroom didn’t have a standing shower. Only bath with hand held. The stairs to main bed could be difficult to navigate for some. Didn’t like the padlock locking system as rhis made it hard for members of my family to come And go at different times.

A little bit far from the Main Street (pro & con). The bath is wonderful but not very functional for everyday use.

The Villa was amazing. Location was a little off the main road but withing easy walking distance. The Staff were great. The Deluxe Villa exceeded my expectations.

Complimentary breakfast and a la carte menu was superb! So delish and good options. Could possible have had more vegetarian options but they accommodated my requests for alterations to the menu just fine. The pools were both great - one had more space to lounge and was quieter so that was nice for relaxing. The location was perfect, slightly off the beaten track and amongst rice fields but near to Yoga Barn (20min walk or 5min Gojek). Overall, the staff were lovely and accomodating!

The bathroom was pretty basic, but was clean and had everything that was needed. The pool in the villages didn’t have the best lounge area but it made up for it in aesthetic.
