About this house rental
This remodeled vacation home is a quaint expanded cape with peekaboo views of Barrell Mill Pond. It is in a quiet neighborhood, a stones throw from the York River Wiggly Bridge and a short walk to the York Harbor Beach, historic York Village, the town docks and marina.
The house was remodeled with a relaxing modern beach theme. The kitchen, master bedroom with en suite bathroom, second floor bathroom and front deck are all new. There is plenty of room for 6 people with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, family room, and kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen bed with two twins in each of the other bedrooms. There is a shady backyard with a patio, propane grill, and views to Wiggly Bridge and a large front porch with both sitting and eating areas.
Please note a Saturday turnover with a 7 day rental is required in high season typically last week of June through August. Other times of the year there is a 3 day minimum rental.
York is a popular beach community with history, charm and accessibility. First settled in 1624 and the first incorporated city in America, the area offers a myriad of fun things to do including relaxing on the beach, fishing, sightseeing and shopping. It is home to the John Hancock Wharf and Mark Twain's Summer home and is an area which still has architectural examples from the Gilded Age, particularly the Shingle style.

Our host, Kevin, was great! He responds quickly to any question we have and is friendly and supportive in every way.The house is a real gem. It's very comfortable and clean. You really feel that your ae "at home". It's super close to the water, fabulous restaurants, the large, nice grocery store as well as great shopping storesWe will stay there again (already booked for next year and I highly recommend it.

In short, This was an absolutely amazing property and experience. Great location, amazing ambiance at the property and everything any average person is wanting in a summer getaway. We WILL be back again with no reservations!
