Desirable tranquil family home in York Harbor!
Five bedrooms – Three 2nd floor bedrooms have ceiling fans, Two 3rd floor bedrooms have A/C units. A pack'n play is available.
Hardwood floors throughout. Newer kitchen with breakfast nook, stainless appliances, and laundry. Living room with TV, built-ins and fireplace. Formal dining room seats ten. Three season porch is perfect setting to relax and enjoy sunsets overlooking Barrells Mill Pond and Wiggly Bridge.
Within walking distance to all - Harbor Beach, Fisherman’s Walk, Wiggly Bridge, Steedman Woods, and York Village (library, post office, yoga, bagel shop, diner, ice cream). For winter visitors Lilac Cottage is within a 1 hour drive from 3 downhill ski resorts and 2 nordic ski centers.
Detached recreational room with 3/4 bath is located behind the house. There is a queen sleeper sofa, table with stools, large flat screen tv and additional seating available in the rec room. This bonus space provides another place for guests to sleep and spend time together.
Outdoor patio area with comfortable lounge seating area and table with umbrella. This area provides an amazing outdoor area to gather, relax and eat outside. There is also a new lawn area on the left side of the house that is available for use. We have additional Adirondack chairs available for overflow seating.
There is a 2 car garage and plenty of additional outdoor parking available.
House has high speed Internet and Netflix access.
No smoking allowed. No dogs allowed.

This place was even better than the listing photos show! We loved having coffee on the front porch in the morning, snacks in the back patio and hang outs in the large living room. The home is in quiet spot but super close to everything. There is so much space and parking. The home is gorgeous. It was very clean! The only thing was that it was a little warm when we checked in. Once we got the fans set up it cooled right down!

We thank you for the stay at your property. Everything was so clean and you supplied everything for our comfort. I know it appears gracious to leave condiments for the next arrival however, we find we wouldn’t want to use leftovers from someone else. Just a thought. The ceiling fan was not working, even with the change of batteries. As it was an extremely hot week, I think having air conditioning on the main floor would be useful. With all that being said, it’s a lovely property in a very nice area. Different for us as we always stay closer to Long Sands. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Rented home for my daughter’s wedding. The home was perfect. Very clean, convenient to all areas in York. The bonus rec room was amazing and worked out perfectly for a bridal suite day of the wedding. Carin and Jill were excellent with communication. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I had a question a few weeks before. No response. Never ever responded. I had wanted to check in early. No response. My coworker arrived at night. The directions were not clear, she ended up finding the key box at the very side of the garage door. It was hard to get it unlocked/locked. We arrived to a pile of wind blown leaves in front of the back door where we are supposed to enter. Hosts never responded to our questions. My coworkers thought it was an awesome house, indeed it was. But to me, it smelled like dead mice somewhere in the walls. The house was very clean, open, and modern. Loved the outlets and electrical upgrades in the house. But living room lamps a couple of bulbs were out. The bathrooms were clean, everything and beds were clean and modern and comfortable. But I’d probably not stay here again because no response by hosts at all. If something happened, we would not have been able to get ahold of them. I find this very unusual and I hope that the hosts are ok.
