About this house rental
Newly renovated with new furnishings! This vacation cottage is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood in between York Harbor and Long Sands beaches. Enjoy your morning coffee while you listen to the harbor bell buoy from the deck or roast marshmallows by the firepit after a day at the beach. A great location with only a 5 minute walk to the oceanside Cliff Walk, 15 minute walk to York Harbor Beach and 3 minute drive to Long Sands Beach. The house is bright, open and comfortable with a separate family room with games and a XBox for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook a lobster dinner, grill or simply enjoy takeout at the large dining table. York is a wonderful town to visit with walking/bike trails, beaches, zoo, quaint downtown with shopping, ice cream, candy stores, arcade and restaurants. A 15-20 minute drive to both Portsmouth, NH and Ogunquit.

This property was perfect! And Melanie, the host, was so informative and willing to help if we needed anything! The house was fully stocked and even had a welcome snack basket with a bottle of wine. I highly recommend this place and I definitely plan to book again! Having a relaxing "home" to return to after all the wedding festivities for my daughter's wedding gave us a huge relief.

This is a beautifully and thoughtfully appointed home in a peaceful neighborhood just blocks from the beach and the village. The home has every possible need fulfilled for a truly relaxing vacation. Clean, comfortable and stocked, a welcome basket of treats, beautiful inside and outside, we were so thrilled to discover this gem. The host was a delight. If you are wondering if this house is as good as it sounds, I would say it is even better! Thank you Melanie for a lovely 2 1/2 weeks!

House is beautiful and very clean. Kitchen has all the basics you need for cooking and the rooms are very comfortable, The game room in the downstairs is a nice touch. Plenty of televisions and very good WiFi. Melanie is an excellent source of information on local restaurants and activities. Neighborhood is well situated and close to many attractions and points of interest.
