Beautiful farm. Quiet and luxurious.

Was lovely. It’s very independent and private. We went as a couple but also if you wanted to go as a group of four you can.

That it’s private and relaxing. We were the only people there. We felt safe. The hot tub is amazing it takes a short while to heat but once it’s heated it lasts for hours. It was just amazing

Took over 3x the amount of time longer to heat the hot tub than we were advised don’t blame yous too much for that as it was pretty cold haha

Used the early check in and late checkout and after checked in we headed for a short walk into National trust Gibside for lunch and a walk. Very peaceful and the hot tub was fantastic 🙂

Nothing and all I could say is to add a privacy part when in the hottub as we were looking over the cow shed.

The area was remote and was nice views.

The hot tub took longer to heat up as using logs and meant we didn’t have as long to enjoy it, when we did get in we managed to only get in the once.

The Amazing place, The spectacular views, on a working farm. The oak pod was fab everything you need. Could of just lived there so lovely. Hot tub fab heated with logs. For you to do yourself. Its an amazing place. Could not fault it. Will definitely be back as it was just what you need to relax and unwind. Thank you. 😄

Very cosy with fantastic views!

Lovely little Yurt, it was very cosy and clean and the bed was so comfy! It was equipped with everything we needed for our stay and what was even better is we had fantastic views from the yurt. We watched the sunset which was beautiful.

Unfortunately we couldn’t use the log fire hot tub due to this not heating up after trying to heat for over 3 hours. Gutted as we booked this for the use of the hot tub.

Cozy and the bed was very comfortable

It’s very dark at night so having an outside light when using the outside bathroom would be beneficial. We had to use the torch on our phone.

We loved how clean the property was, and it was easy to locate and not far from home either, it was like a hidden gem, we enjoyed the Scandinavian hot tub which was really warm and lovely to enjoy while watching the sun set

Amazing

We booked this trip to get away for a couple days after a hard few month. From start to finish it was truly amazing. The yurt itself was spotless and cozy, the view was stunning and it was just so relaxing. We ended up purchasing way too much wood haha but we took what was leftover home to have some campfires ☺️ we also ordered the steak which was delicious we would highly recommend. Honestly wished we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back!

Amazing! Definitely returning!

Absolutely loved our stay here and will 100% come back. We actually preferred the woodfired hottub over a normal hottub as we could control the temperature and it stayed hot all night, whereas at previous lodges the temperatures have been too hot and we couldn’t stay in the hottub for long. The accommodation was lovely and the views were amazing. We were even offered an extra night for a reduced price however we couldn’t due to work commitments so we were gutted :(

The only suggestion we would have would be a net for the flies in the hottub however this wasn’t a massive issue.

Perfect

It exceeded expectations. Was so beautiful and scenic. We were able to watch the lambs play and see the cows from a distance. The yurt itself was perfect and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Chihuahuas we seen on the morning were so cute and the host was very friendly and helpful.

It was a lovely cosy place with everything you could need, very peaceful and the owners were so helpful, even coming out to help us light the fire when we had a little trouble doing it ourselves!

Staff excellent. Sorted out issue with shower instantly. Cosy and exceptional views. Ability to travel around Gibside. Staff really friendly. Our second time staying.

Tin opener needed replacing but we managed and fed this back to the manager and based upon their responsiveness I am sure this will be now rectified. This did not impact negatively on our stay though and we had a wonderful time - loved every minute. Would absolutely recommend.

I didn’t stay… I left after realising I had been robbed and had been put on a tiny garden shed

Wasn’t what was pictured on the sale… it was a garden shed.. left and didn’t stay asked for a full refund… absolutely disgusting.. couldn’t swing a cat… false advertisement wouldn’t recommend at all

Our best trip to date!

We loved everything about our stay here. It was very peaceful & relaxing whilst only being a 15 minute drive to the city center & metro station! We were so gutted to be leaving but are eager to return one day soon.

that we couldn’t stay there forever! (not in any way related to the property but would recommend getting to grips with starting & maintaining a fire prior to arrival if you’ve not done it before. first time fire starters but we got the hang of it & was well worth it)

The space inside was amazing and how it had been utilised. The hot tub was fabulous, once I’d mastered it (maybe a few more details would have helped) and the shower was great. A gorgeous view as well.

There was nothing I didn’t like but perhaps rethink the wind chime! It woke us both up in the night (although obviously not your fault that it was so windy!).
