Casa Pelourinho

This was the most adorable house. Spotlessly clean, everything you could ever want. Great location as nice and quiet yet a short walk from the cafes, bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here

Casa Pelourinho is a little gem. We only stayed for one night as we were on a road trip, but even this short stay was enough for us to feel ourselves at home. It's such a clean, stylish and friendly home with everything you can possibly need (from a morning coffee to an ironing board).. all topped with great communication from the hosts. Thank you :)

I wouldn't say it's something I didn't like, but as our trip was in November, nights were already a bit chilly. I was a bit concerned when I saw that the bedding wasn't the warmest, but then I looked inside the drawers under the bed and found an extra blanket, which did the job. And I'm sure if we had stayed longer and had followed up with the hosts I would have received all the help.

This place is perfect for a couple, for a family the extra ‘beds’ are not comfortable.

The ‘extra’ couch/bed in the upstairs bedroom feels like a box spring with no mattress. The wooden slats are very uncomfortable. The sofa on the main level is also was not suitable as a bed, there were metal slats on that one. It’s hot, I visited in August, no Air conditioning it was very difficult to sleep.
