Morgado do Quintão

Beautiful setting, private pool and garden, good location, surrounded by vineyards with very nice wine available.

it’s a bit run down and hasn’t been properly cared for a while. Very limited hot water. bad insulation and no mosquito nets on windows, so no way to keep windows open at night (and no AC). Limited appliances on kitchen.

Property/vineyard is unbelievable. Pool in amazing. Styling and design is beautiful. One of the most visually stunning places that we've ever stayed.

Furniture and appliances need some updates. Plastic toilet seats, mattresses were satisfactory at best, one of the showers was terrible. No soap, salt, pepper, cooking oil, wine bottle opener, etc.

The views are outstanding and the peace and quiet was a welcome after travelling. House itself is quite quaint. Believe it was a barn at one time.

Google maps took us all around the property but directly to the house. Signage for the Almond House is non existent. Was not given gate code prior to having to text property manager. Arranged for early check in and the house wasn't yet cleaned nor was anyone there to greet us. Wifi never worked so we incurred $60 in roaming charges. Kitchen is I'll equipped, beds are a rock to sleep on. First morning we had no water. Met the lovely caretaker several times to fix this or take care of yellow jackets and rats living in the tree next to the house. Really not worth the $500+ we spent for two nights!
