Villa do Lago

The villa was absolutely huge. There was so much space. There were plenty of towels. Everything you needed was there. It was fully stocked with equipment for cooking and cleaning. I was so impressed with the facilities and what they had to offer. The outdoor kitchen was super. We didn't leave it. There was such a relaxing atmosphere about the area. Rita and José were great hosts. And really accommodated us well.

Nothing.

We loved everything! An enormous house where there was plenty of room for all, fab air con and everything we could need. Attentive hosts. We loved exploring Silves and some of the local area-a holiday to remember forever.

There was a couple of issues with the pool but our hosts sorted this immediately. If we were to return we would probably hire a car.

Nos encantó la casa. Es muy grande y tiene de todo. La zona de piscina y barbacoa es ideal. El sótano también es un extra con toda variedad de actividades de ocio. Los anfitriones son super agradables.

Quizás faltó un poco de limpieza en la cocina. El check-in a partir de las 16h y el check-out hasta las 10h nos hace perder casi un día entero. Comprendo que es por la limpieza, pero deberían plantearse dejar un día sin alquilar para dedicarlo a la limpieza.

Very spacious and well equipped Villa run by a lovely family. They met us on arrival to apologise for the WiFi being down but by Monday it was all sorted with a new provider and WiFi 6 router (600MBs should keep everyone happy!). We paid a bit extra for pool heating, very reasonable and definitely worth it, pool was lovely. Great outdoor kitchen and barbecue so we dined there most of the week. Great to have the gym, games room in the basement garage, huge space and nice and cool. Full size proper pool table was especially popular. All in all a great place for a family holiday, run by friendly, helpful people who would be quick to resolve any issues that may arise. We look forward to another visit in future!
