A real gem in Cologne!

Nippes is a lovely, quite location just two stops on the U Bahn from Cologne Cathedral. It has lots of shops, bars and restaurants and a lovely bakery called Adolphs only 5 minutes walk away from the apartment. Ute and Ronald are such welcoming hosts. They were quick to provide instructions, were very responsive to messages and made sure the apartment was warm for our late arrival. The apartment itself is very modern, stylish ( just like the photos), clean and comfortable with everything you could want for your stay. We all agreed it is the nicest place we have ever stayed. The beds are comfortable, even the sofa bed, and we loved the heavy duvets. The Information Booklet is very interesting to read. The balcony must be great in the summer but the view from the apartment is lovely now with the autumn colours. We really enjoyed staying in Ute and Ronald's apartment for our trip to Cologne's Christmas Markets and hope to recommend it to friends in the future!

Pleasant flat in Nippes

Lovely and comfortable third floor apartment with cosy outdoor seating. Set in an ideal location close to restaurants, shops, a market and easy transport to the city centre.

The steps up to the mezzanine, while sturdy, could be a challenge for less agile adults.

Small but perfectly formed

Close to public transport and local amenities. Great communication from the hosts. Lots of little details thought about e.g. hooks, lamps and charging ports in many locations. When I couldn't work out how to use the hob (totally my own stupidity!!) the hosts responded v quickly to my message via booking.com. Tea/coffee/welcome beers were provided which was v generous. Small playground right outside the apartment which was a bonus for my 5 and 7 year old

Comfortable. convenient and quiet

location was ideal in a really quiet, quaint area with lots of lovely local pubs and restaurants. It was also near to a highstreet with an Aldi and Netto so could easily stock up for days out. Perfect for visiting Phantasialand as all you need is a short lime scooter ride and a train and you're there!

The reason for our stay was a sad event to attend a funeral for my dear brother. This accommodation went some way to ease the sorrow. The proprietor was extremely hospitable making arrangements for local taxi service from our hotel to Nueland forest in Wuppertal. Frankly we cannot thank him enough. This accommodation is superb and highly recommended if wishing to visit Cologne.

Beautiful and spacious apartment! Just perfect.

Spacious and comfortable apartment! Less than a 10-minute walk to the nearest public transport station that can take you straight into city center. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen, and all other necessary amenities. Very easy check-in! Such a nice apartment overall!

Do keep in mind that some of the shades are remote-controlled and at first we thought some windows didn’t have them. There are some steep steps, which might not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

Amazing hosts, everything was in perfect order, room was comfortable and wifi was very fast and stable. The small kitchenette worked quite well.

No aircon, room was very hot when it was above 32C outside, not a problem most of the year.

The place was cozy, it had everything that you need included, specially kitchen and washing machine. The balcony was comfortable to stay during the summer. The staff was very kind and eager to help with all our questions. We felt very welcome.

We have stayed at Apartment 11 for 3 days. Ronald is working very professional. It’s really easy to communicate with Ronald before and during the stay. There is a special booklet in the apartment which is giving all the necessary information about the apartment. Also the booklet includes information about museums, restaurants, etc. in Cologne. It’s very useful. The apartment is really clean. Beds are comfortable. You can find almost all the necessary kitchen equipments. You can walk to the nearest U-Bahn station by 6-7 minutes walk. There are also many restaurant options around the apartment. If we visit Cologne again, we will definitely stay at Apartment11 Wartburg. Special thanks to Ronald !!!

A very nice appartment in a very good location in Cologne. Nearby are many restaurants and shops, it is even easy to walk to the very center in about 25 minutes walk. Nice hosts that provide booklet with lot of information what to do in and around cologne.

Parking wa sa bit of a challenge. A booklet is provided where to park in the area, to find a parking place took us around 45 minutes a day in case we needed to use the car.
