Highly Recommend

Great location. Spacious Room. Everything you could realistically need for a short stay. Visited for the Christmas markets and it was so nice to know we had a room to go back to with a kitchenette, space to eat and space to relax - it's worth the extra cost over a hotel room!

Our initial room had a few ants in the bathroom and around the kitchen area but when I raised this with staff, a freshly cleaned room was made available to us with little fuss. Very happy with how the situation was resolved and couldn't fault them.

Convenient for money, confortable place, not super friendly location.

Value for money is amazing, the place is super confortable for a family, super easy to reach via Metro from the train station, and accesing the property with the code is super simple.

During the evening, the street where the place is located is not so family friendly. Lots of homeless and junkies around the metro station. A few disco pubs also on the street made a little noise during evenings.

Fantastic location and a cosy clean room

The location is fantastic, with lots of bars, cafes, restaurants on the same street, plus a supermarket also nearby. Easy access with the codes and a good equipped kitchenette. The bed was very comfy and we had a balcony. The staff is super helpful, friendly and quick with their responses. A big big thank you from us!!

The room is a bit small tbh for a deluxe room, but it was sufficient for us for a couple nights of going out and exploring the city and just staying in the room to sleep.

Good location, the studio was clean and had everthing we needed to cook.

Comfortable apartment but too many ants everywhere 🥲

A very comfy bed, great location, lovely interiors.

Unfortunately, it was infested with ants, the hallways and the lift had strange smells, and there is a lot of noise coming from outside - not very sound proof. It’s a shame there was no oven which is important for longer stays.

Dangerous door code situation

Comfortable and in a very central location.

The door code was also a door code for another guest's room! I called to get it changed and I was told in circles that it was not possible. Who else may have had that door code?!

Köln central place

We liked our stay here, almost everything was wonderful and comfortable. The kitchen had all necessary amenities and equipment. The bathroom was suitable and clean. The location is nice, so if you want, you can reach it by foot.

We didn't like two things: 1. Under the heating radiator there was a specific chemical insect poison, which we have found by the trail of tiny brown ants marching from the kitchen to that hidden place. They didn't bother us a lot, but it is not perfect for sensitive people and for food on the table. 2. The sofa, that we used as a second bed, was way too noisy. My wife could not sleep without being woken up when turning or moving.

Family football trip to Cologne

Lovely apartment, very clean and modern. Close walk to underground and trams. 20min walk to Cathedral area. Lots of restaurants, bars and great shops around the apartment

Location, space and the comfy bed.

Bad bed sheets, ants everywhere in the kitchen/bathroom and room. It wasn’t cleaned properly. The lift was so smelly. Ants everywhere and having to clean where I was staying and be mindful of where they were crawling or getting into my items is not what I was expecting. No air con, the fan was very dirty.

Amazing apartment in an area with loads of bars and restaurants and a big park

Fantastic apartment, great new smart TV, coffee machine, excellent kitchen facilities. Entering the apartment all through a link on your phone!

Nothing about the apartment. Just be wary going in and out to close the door properly as quite a few street drinkers in that area.

Super Location - very comfortable - Ideal short stay

Location is ideal, 15 min walk to all the main attractions. Fairly quiet location with a balcony. Soundproofed! 24 hr shop underneath. The bed is super super comfortable, the fridge is so cold! Nice shower, amenities provided and toothbrush.

The stair way… the smell was not nice which is a shame for the apartment block which can’t be helped due to the connecting Asian restaurant.

Balcony issues

We stayed in studio balcony apartment 3rd floor, I didn't like that the balcony was shared between apartment next door, this meant that when we used the balcony the neighbour was also using there's which means no privacy plus we couldn't leave our door open during the night due to security reasons. The other residents also smoked one morning my husband found a cigarette packet with used cigarettes and ash on our table, we booked this apartment as it has a No smoking policy but this did not stop them smoking, we knew they were smokers as there were cigarette butts on the balcony floor when we entered the apartment Due to this we won't be returning to these apartments which is a shame as everything else was fabulous, loved the bathroom, the shower was excellent This problem could easily be rectified by partition between apartment balconies.

It was ok.

Easy access and great location

The entrance to the building and the staircase isn’t very clean nor very inviting. The room was very hot in the summer as no AC was available. The ventilatior did not help. Our room was facing the innet yard and people were sitting outside and were loud, so we couldn’t open the window for air during the night.

The property was perfect for our needs - clean, tidy, quite. Facilities in the room were good as well since there is a kitchenette well equipped for a short stay. The location is very central and only 20 minutes stroll from the Cathedral - however the neighbourhood is very lively with pleasant shops and touristic areas to enjoy with family and friends.

Nothing in particular, everything was perfect and met out expectations for the stay. A small suggestion would be the smell / air freshener in the common parts could be upgraded - however, this might not be something which depends from the owner.

Great apartment for a short stay

Great location in walking distance from the train station, lots of shops around. The main bed was very big and comfortable. Coffee and tea were provided in the kitchen.

The sofa bed was quite squeaky, pillows were too thin, and it would be great to have some vegatable oil in the kitchen.

The property was just like in the pictures. Bed so comfortable. It was very clean and tidy. Most of supplies were provided including towels and toothbrush.

The beds were very (!!) comfortable and everything was very clean. Check in and check out were very easy. Great location, near shops, cafes and clubs.

The fact that it only had one separate bedroom, one bathroom and no separate toilet. With a group of 6 travelers that sometimes was a hassle. The entry smelled a special type of awful every day.

What a comfortable stay!

I like the neighborhood of the property. The room was really easy to use and best fit to a family with 3 people. Room was clean, everything was working with no problem. The room was at the center of the city and quiet enough to rest. we like Nuva Apartments so much that If we had a change to come again, we would exactly choose the same room :)

The entrance hall of the apartment was smelling terrible. We couldn't understand the reason because that was really clean.

Overall happy with our stay at Nuva Apartments :) Most of the things are in walking distance Pubs, Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Shops and the Metro. Even the Cologne Cathedral is 30-45min in walking distance ( chill tempo ). The room itself was very clean at our last day we have been able to chat with the cleaning lady and she was very kind and friendly as said overall happy with our trip and we would definelty book again at Nuva Appartments

No Major Issues here, please dont get it wrong :) So the Entrance had a bad odour due to the neighbouring restaurant I guess in Autumn and Winter its not a big deal but you will be inside the elevator in 1 min so it was not an issue :) No Aircon, we didnt miss at all but I guess when its 40 Degrees outside its not great to be inside but we had an electric fan it helped but opening the window by night is not that great because of the noise from the bars and Clubs. And the Balcony is not seperated from the other rooms also not a big deal but maybe a thing I should share

Mixed Experience

The apartment was small, but very cozy. Looked like in the picture. Clean. It is located in the city center, close to many things.

It was a nightmare for me. Despite the nice apartment, I didn't enjoy it at all. I read the reviews before booking and people were saying it may be loud sometimes. So I must say, it's not that maybe, it is extremely loud in the night and up until morning. There is a club in front of the building, so loud music, loud people. Also, there was no AC, and it was very hot. If there was an AC, closing the doors can help a bit, but won't save you. Maybe it's good to stay there in the winter, but for summer there it's not an option. And if you are really sensitive to sounds, avoid making the same mistakes as I did.
