It was an excellent stay. Although it’s been a week since we left, we enjoyed our two-week stay at Sairee View Resort immensely. Andrew and the staff were fabulous; they were so helpful and made our Koh Tao holidays truly enjoyable. This was my second time on the island, but I definitely enjoyed it more this time around.
The bungalow we stayed in was comfortable and cozy, surrounded by the natural sounds of the jungle at night (if wildlife noises bother you, I’d suggest using earplugs). The breakfast and the pool were a major plus!
Definitely recommend it.

Peaceful and removed from traffic and noise of Koh Tao. Spacious suite with separate living space is great for relaxing. Good value.

The view and sunset from this hotel are fabulous. The breakfast was plentiful for 200 Baht—the trust book for recording what you take from the refreshment and snack cupboard is a nice touch. The pool was a refreshing treat.
We were collected from our previous accommodation by the owner, Andrew. He seemed to be in a particularly bad mood, swearing and cussing tourists all the way to his resort. It didn't make us feel very welcome. The room was small, and once we got our bags in there was little space left to get around. The bed was very hard, causing us both to get very little sleep. The mosquitoes, I know, go with the territory, but they were hard to escape, even in the room. Perhaps some plug-ins in the room and some smoke rings would be useful whilst sitting out admiring the view. The resort is up a very steep hill and quite a way from restaurants, the main town or beaches. A scooter or pay 300 Baht each way for a taxi is definitely needed.
