Sairee View Resort

The staff were exceptional. The owners Andrew and Peay were so lovely. Welcoming and always willing to help, as were the rest of the staff at the resort. The views were spectacular from the pool area where breakfast was available also. The room was standard but comfortable and good value for money

The bed was slightly uncomfortable and very creaky. Very loud every time that you moved, however I think this is something that can easily be fixed.

The view, the room, everything

The view and sunset from this hotel are fabulous. The breakfast was plentiful for 200 Baht—the trust book for recording what you take from the refreshment and snack cupboard is a nice touch. The pool was a refreshing treat.

We were collected from our previous accommodation by the owner, Andrew. He seemed to be in a particularly bad mood, swearing and cussing tourists all the way to his resort. It didn't make us feel very welcome. The room was small, and once we got our bags in there was little space left to get around. The bed was very hard, causing us both to get very little sleep. The mosquitoes, I know, go with the territory, but they were hard to escape, even in the room. Perhaps some plug-ins in the room and some smoke rings would be useful whilst sitting out admiring the view. The resort is up a very steep hill and quite a way from restaurants, the main town or beaches. A scooter or pay 300 Baht each way for a taxi is definitely needed.
