Nice and quiet hotel with several good sea view rooms.

No music at the pool ! By walking down the stairs you can enter the sea for a nice swim in a calm sea. The resort is at the end of a dead end street, so the road is very calm. Free pickup / drop of from / to the Mae Haad pier. Regular free shuttle to Saree village which is a 30 min’s walk away

Loved our stay & would come back!

It was very clean, the rooms felt like a little cocoon and the staff was super nice, especially May. The pool is beautiful. The restaurant offers a good variety of food.

Great view and lovely staff

Lovely view and nice pool. Rooms were big with a lovely view too. Facilities were really good in the room and they replaced the water and towels everyday. The staff were very accommodating and very friendly and helped whenever we needed.

It is quite far from sairee beach (20min walk down a steep hill with cars speeding by) so try to hire a moped as the taxis are fixed rate at 400bhat so it adds up. The hotel runs a shuttle bus down but not up (apart from when you arrive so make sure to contact them your arrival time in advanced as we missed this detail). Also there are a few steps to your room from the reception so if you struggle with mobility then have a rethink. There was a bit of building work going on but that didn’t impact us where our room was.

Everything was fantastic. Welcoming and friendly staff that were always ready to help when needed. Our room was a fantastic space and was cleaned at the same time everyday. Facilities were on par with the above. It’s away from the busy hub of Koh Tao but only a five min moped ride down which was great

Jungle vibe, clam and relex, private with lovely Seaview.

A relaxing hotel with a jungle vibe. We booked a bungalow with a sea view. The view from the room and the hotel itself were beautiful. Because the hotel is a bit far from the center we weren't bothered by scooter or street noise. We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at this hotel.

The hotel has a lot of stairs!! You have to walk up and down to get to the room. It is not recommended for people with leg or knee problems, or for the elderly. There were no slippers in the room, and we encountered ants and mosquitoes, but this is kindly understandable because you are in the middle of the jungle. The water pressure is a bit weak.

Dreamiest stay in the nature

Everything was amazing!! I adored the hotel, staff and all the details. They did everything to make our trip easier for us including arranging our pick up and drop off, organising motorbike hire internally and daily cleaning! It truly felt like we were in the nature and the views were incredible from the pool- the bedroom interior is soooo gorgeous I wanted to take everything home with me!

Could do with a microwave and bigger fridge- also be aware that the hotel is semi in the jungle so there are bats and other animals that you will encounter often! I did get a little scared because one flew right past my face but other than that they didn’t bother us; also there are a lottttt of stairs!!

Swimming pool I liked the stairway and the Aesthetics of the mountain side and I liked the places where we slept like the wooden huts yep that was all pretty good oh and The View.

Spend your hard earned money elsewhere

The view from the restaurant and pool, but these can be found at numerous other accommodations across the island.

Despite the accommodation’s claim that our room description stated it was on street level, it did not and it was in fact directly on the noisy road in and out of Sairee, right next to where guests park their bikes. Multiple aspects of our room were disappointing and not reflective of the description. I raised this with the accommodation while there and my concern was ignored, despite them responding to other queries afterward. I then raised a concern through booking.com regarding inaccurate room descriptions when we arrived home and the accommodation’s response was to offer 12% of the cost of the room as booking.com credit. Still no apology or acknowledgement. I therefore raised this with booking.com again as the issue still had not been addressed - it’s now been 17 days since booking.com specifically asked the accommodation to contact me to discuss this and I am still yet to hear from them. I have waited for over a month for this to be addressed, with no acknowledgment or response from the accommodation, therefore I’m now leaving a review. This place is not cheap in comparison to similar accommodations in the area, it’s probably the worst value for money we’ve experienced across the 11 different accommodations throughout Thailand that we’ve stayed in since June 2024, and certainly the least restful we experienced (and that’s taking a beachfront bungalow ON Sairee Beach into consideration). The management clearly do not give a thought to the service they provide guests, which is a shame as this is not our general experience throughout Thailand at all.

The room we got was dirty and stink , there were no hot water in the shower. Breakfast was terrible, nothing to eat, not even coffee. I would recommend to stay away.

Amazing stay in nature and cozy bungalow

The hotel filled with nature and plant. The bungalow with sea veiw is spectacular. The room is cozy decorated and equipped with all necessary stuffs like beach & bag towels/ umbrella. Internet is good. The stafs are really helpful. Further, there is free shuttle to Sairee Center and Pier! would recommend at all cost to support their business!

So aesthetic and such a beautiful view. The pool is stunning and it’s in a very quiet area! Not quite in the centre of town (which is what makes it quiet) but they provide a free shuttle into town a few times a day!

No negatives for us. They’re are lots of stairs from/ to the room we were in but doesn’t take long to complete them and they help you with your luggage aswell! The first night we heard a lot of scratching which freaked me out to begin with until we realised they were just cute squirrels! Which we loved.

I had such a wonderful stay at Heritage Hideaway. The bungalow was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and had everything I needed. The views were breathtaking, the facilities were top-notch, and everything was so well maintained. The staff were warm, friendly, and always helpful. I truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back!

Wonderful staff, food and rooms

The staff ware really attentive, extra super nice, breakfast buffet was excellent with freshly squized orange juice and fresh fruit every day and so many varieties, sweet and savory. The room with sea view was stunning and the dining area as well. Room was big enough, had a flash lite for the stairs when dark but they have lightning of the stairs as well. Free shuttle at certain hours to take you down to Sairee beach but be aware they do not take you back up and the taxis are very expensive, 300 baht each way for a short drive. Free shuttle to the pier at certain hours when leaving Koh Tao. Beds are a bit harder but we like that a lot. Pillows very comfy. Lush garden, animals around, we loved that. Great infinity pool with wooden loungers. You get fresh towels for bathroom and pool with 2 bottles of water every day. We had a great time.

Steep hill to go up and down, maybe 5 minutes with taxi but very expensive, 300 baht each way after 10pm the taxis are 500 baht, which was a turn off for us. Best if you have a scooter. The hotel is in the hills so lots of stairs to go to the small beach which we didn't go to and lots of stairs up to the restaurant. Can be hard... Prices for food are expensive but the food was excellent. Deposit for key 500 baht but you get the money back after checking out. Overall a great hotel if you don't mind the steps and paying for taxi every time you go down to Sairee beach and back up.

Comfortable rooms with lots of character

Tucked into the hillside with stunning ocean views, the resort’s cozy bungalows feel like something out of a storybook—possibly where Hobbits would go on holiday. While it's not within walking distance of town, the free daytime shuttle service is convenient. However, returning requires a taxi or scooter rental. The pool is small but still a relaxing spot to unwind. Though we didn’t try the breakfast buffet, the on-site restaurant impressed us with its scenic setting and excellent food—our kids claimed the pancakes were the best they’ve ever had! Prices are also reasonable.

Amazing stay!

Stunning views from the hotel, quiet away from the main market but accessible with scooter/drop service by the hotel. Very thoughtful staff and processes which made our stay very convenient. Rooms were nice with cozy interiors. Great value for money. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to couples and families.

Nice place, could be a problem for people with mobility issues

The staff were wonderful, the view from the restaurant just stunning. We spent the first night in a room that was accessible via 120 steps, my wife has an issue with her hip, on the second morning I brought up the issue and we were immediately moved to a room at restaurant and pool level (a higher standard of room too at no extra cost).

THE STAFF. Hands down the best staff I have ever come across. They make you feel so welcome and warm. The views from this place is also amazing. There are a lot of stairs and a lot of bugs (given the location) but I didn’t mind because it was simply breathtaking.

The pool was the best bit about the hotel, you couldn’t fault it. However it is extremely small with only around 8 sun-loungers total. But we never didn’t have a sun-lounger to sit on

Be aware that the huts are a big treck down lots of stairs. Luckily me and boyfriend are reasonably fit so managed okay. Our hotel room was dark and bat poo kept getting on the bed. We told hotel staff and they cleaned this but it kept on going on the bed so a bat must of been getting in some how. There was also a few gekos in the room.

Very disappointed stay: pool and toilets are not clean and it’s smelly

Very disappointed about the hotel . The pool, toilets were not clean. The man at the reception was rude because we complained that they charged us water at the restaurant . Even though water is for free. After we did the check out we asked for water and he said we have to pay for it . Really rude and not to be expected from a receptionist . The hotel has no access to downtown only some free rides (11am, and in the afternoon) from the hotel but not pick up which is really bad because you need a bike or a taxi to come back which cost 400 bath =10€. The hotel has access to a “beach” but the beach is full with trash and smelly . Really not nice ! At the pool you cannot drink or order anything ! If you book just for the infinity pool or the view there are other hotels which are better . Just you need to book in advance because otherwise there are sold out !

Relaxing and tranquil couple of days.

It was a charming little resort with beautiful jungle-style villas. Staff were very attentive and easy to access.

Lots of steep concrete stairs leading up & down to the rooms, the huts are built into a cliff face so be wary of your not up for the hike.

Lovely setting but won’t be returning.

Lovely view from the room. Lovely service from some staff members. Complementary one way shuttle to town is useful as well as shuttles to/from the ferry pier.

We disappointingly had a few issues during our stay. Firstly, the shower pressure was so bad that we couldn’t even properly wash the shampoo from our hair. The reception team arranged for this to be fixed after 2 days and on day two arranged for us to use a different room at the other end of the hotel to shower. When we checked out, they told us they had organised free breakfast for our stay to apologise but nobody told us this, which was disappointing. We were only aware of the complimentary apology breakfast on one of the days, when we were there for almost a week. Considering the shower was properly broken for 2 days and it was over 30°c daily we do not feel we were fairly compensated. Once the shower was fixed, we lost water supply twice and were told it’s because the fix we requested had broken the pipe work. We also had the cleaner leave the patio door fully open when we were out all day so came back to an abundance of mosquitos and bugs in our room. The hotel is in a lovely setting, but beware the shuttle only works in one direction (downhill) so you may need to pay 300-400THB for a taxi to get back up the hill. The only other downside is there are minimal sunbeds around the pool so if you aren’t quick but still want to lounge by the pool, you may not be able to. This isn’t a fault of the hotel though as there just isn’t enough physical space for more beds.

Great little place

Everything was good, our room, the staff, the pool everything. Yes there’s lots of steps but that’s because of how the rooms are located adding to the charm and staff help you with your bags on arrival and departure. It isn’t really walkable to Sairee Beach but we got the free shuttle down before sunset then easy to get a taxi back which was 400 bht so not a massive issue. They also arranged us to get a taxi to Aow Leuk for the day easily enough and picked us up from ferry on arrival and departure for free. Pool was lovely as well one day we had it all to ourselves and it was beautiful

Beautiful new resort, views were amazing.

Few teething problems but the staff went out there way to sort anything we needed. Shame the restaurant was not ready for our stay, but I understand it’s opening very soon.
