Good value night stay but had to wait to check in

Easy to get to from the interstate and was suitable for a one night stay. Breakfast which was included in our price was very good for the cost. Parking was also included which was good David on check in was very kind and helpful and did his best in a bad situation with the rooms not being available

Upon checking in at around 7pm we were advised our rooms were still not available due to a lack of cleaners on the day, this was very disappointing and whilst we understand these things can happen I don’t think it’s unfair to expect a hotel to have a contingency in place to ensure rooms are ready before this time, we eventually were able to check in after 8pm which was very late after travelling from Austin all day. It would have also been nice to at least been offered a refreshment during our wait from the shop, as the coffee pots were cold so we couldn’t use those.

This is by far the nicest holiday inn we have ever stayed at. Very clean, the breakfast buffet is amazing, the rooms are VERY clean and the beds are comfy. Pillows were on point as well.

An excellent choice for a few days in El Paso & the staff are fab!

Lovely, kind, helpful staff - thank you Eric & Alan! Clean, comfortable, pleasant room with plenty of space & a chaise long to lounge on. Great tasty breakfast with quite a lot of choice, everything seemed fresh & plentiful. Bright, welcoming public areas & handy little fitness centre for some treadmill walking. All in all a great place to stay, shame we only had one night there!

Hate the fixed head shower (not just here, most hotels still have them!) & being short makes them difficult to adjust. Plastic cutlery & paper plates are not so nice for breakfast but still the food is good, though some fresh chopped fruit would have topped it off perfectly.

Very pleasant stay!

The staff was incredibly friendly. My son and I enjoyed the breakfast bar. Basic but well stocked. They had low calorie protein options which was surprising. They had a slightly different menu on our second day so the free breakfast wasn't even boring. They keep fresh coffee available all day long. They also provide little to go bags if you need to make breakfast on the go. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. I usually do not sleep well in hotels but these comfortable rooms helped me to sleep very well. The room has a microwave and mini fridge.

I would have preferred single use toiletries. These were mounted and refillable. While they seem to be locked in place, it's hard to get past the idea they could be tampered with. Everything in the room seemed built very quickly. So things like the toilet paper holder or mounted in drywall but not at the stud so it was coming out of the wall. They had USB charging stations that were set too deep in the wall to use and were crooked.

What we expected and were glad that we stayed here.

Location for us was ideal, as we were just passing through town and it was not far from the freeway. Breakfast was good, but no waffle maker? Pancake machine on the fritz? Room was very nice, clean and had good amenities.

Need a waffle maker. Fix the pancake machine if no waffle maker.
