The view isn’t worth it
Stunning mountain view
Hundreds of ants in our bungalow. We asked for another room, but were relocated to one without a toilet, so we had to use the shared bathroom. There were lots of noisy roosters. At 5:30 am, a local ceremony took place nearby, after which the neighbors turned on loud electronic music (they decided to have a party at 6 am). We couldn’t sleep.

Rustic with a stunning view!
The view is epic, live everyone says. It's a family run place and the people are very sweet.
There was no privacy. Lots of people around right outside the cabin with see-through curtains in the window. The walls of cabin are super thin so you hear EVERYTHING. There was a cat coming by and meowing extremely loudly and loud music blaring from nearby, both from neighboring properties. It did quiet down by the time I went to bed though. There were an intense amount of flies everywhere, so I worried that the food was contaminated. The owner said that it was just a certain time of year that happened. I noticed it everywhere in the mountains at the time, not just there. The website gave me the impression I was getting two rooms but it was just one, and it's a very small room not much bigger than the small bed inside. The private toilet and shower has a separate entrance from the back of the cabin only, and mine was a little stinky. There are two cabins side-by-side and another two much bigger cabins just above them which were already booked. Beware it does get cool at night, perhaps 18-19 C, and google directs you to go the wrong way. It's a very hilly 10-minute walk from the nearest place to drive a car. Fortunately I could reach them on the phone when I arrived and a very sweet young man came promptly to give me a ride on a scooter even holding my carry-on suitcase in front of him. That was an adventure! The view is absolutely stunning and was worth the sacrifices in comfort. You might want to bring your own food, as options for food there are quite limited and there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance.

A beautiful camping site with very helpful staff and owner.
It was a camping site and hence the location was perfect. The staff were very helpful and accessible. The view was fantastic. Staff helped us with setting up the fire for barbecue. Owner provided us with extra blankets and arranged for vegetarian breakfast.
Hot water stopped while taking bath in the morning. There were dirty coffee cups in our room.

Need to pay extra IDR400,000 for the transportation which is didn’t inform in advance. When reach the drop off spot, we still need to walk a section of slope which is I feel so dangerous. Not recommended for the elderly and kids.

A very 'okay' Sunrise
The staff was really nice and it was a fun adventure to get there. The food was very inexpensive.
There was loud music from place close by pretty much the entire time. Since we came here to have a quiet couple of days away from the crowded cities, we weren't the biggest fan.
The name says 'Bali Sunrise', but this seemed to be more of an empty advertisement than real. The sunrise was dissappointing.
The toilet seat was missing, and there was rarely any toiletpaper.
The food took about an hour to get ready after we ordered.

What a spot! At the top of the mountain has all the elements, clouds washing over, we had a fire, and the food the owner made was yumm, the local village is high vibe and we had some good lauphs, a good spot to recalibrate the psyche! And the view is breathgiving! Feels well integrated with the family, good energy.

Great hospitality, exceptional view and scenery, definitely a must to visit when travelling in Bali.
They were very responsive in replying our messages and queries before our arrival to arrange all that we needed in advance. We got Jro the owner to pick us up from our previous hotel. It was a wise choice as the place is a little remote and further up the hill so it was good to call for the local. He bought some fresh fish on the way to flame grill for us for dinner. They were the freshest and sweetest fish I have tasted in Bali!
The scenery was breathtaking! We could see the lake, the mountains and the sea. The sunrise over the mountains was magnificent despite the early shower.
None. We realised that they could organise the adventure tours for us on the mountain that we wished we had taken while we were there.

The views were really nice when the weather cleared up.
The staff were unfriendly when we arrived, and we felt like we were bothering them when we were asking simple questions. The location is very far from any resources, we felt a bit stuck there with nothing to do when it's raining.

Location impossible to reach if you go by car and be very careful if you go by motorcycle, even the locals that didn't live in the mountain where scared of driving there. The staff took advantage of the location and gave us the price they estimated to get off the mountain, even limiting the time of our activities down, we did not feel well treated.

Bali sunrise camp is incredible, the setting is so laid back and chill. Sunrise was incredible and our hosts were so lovely, going out of their way to reunite me with some lost property.

An amazing place with a wonderful sunrises and sunsets ! I had a great rest there ! The owner and his family were very good to me ! Food was very tasty .
But the best part was in the morning ! The sunset view from my tent was perfect !!!
If you want to see the culture inside and rest from civilization for a day or two hight in mountains , surrounded by the nature - its this place.
Thank you very much for memories that I will keep inside for a long time !
The only small minus for someone can be the way to this camp . It's hard to get there by bike , but possible) the owner always can meet you
