Villa Lira by Algarve Holidays

The villa is incredibly spacious and was perfect for our group. The outdoor area and pool are fantastic and were a real highlight of our stay. The location is excellent, with the beach, the lake, the shack and the campus all within easy walking distance. The games room was great fun for the kids. If you are looking for space, a great location and excellent outdoor facilities, this villa is a great choice.

The interior is quite dated and would benefit from modernising. The bedrooms were comfortable, but the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. The baths and fittings are very old, could do with regrouting, and there was a slight musty smell. The rugs and upholstery would also benefit from a thorough clean.

The villa is really nice as it has several spacious rooms and the garden side is appropriate to make bbq and sun bathing. It is also a quiet area for those who wants to rest.

For the price paid, I was surprised that little equipement like toilet paper and dishwashing products were not available (or in an extremely low availability) ; it's in total contrast with the quality level of the villa. Depening on the people, they might find the area kind of isolated. It's definitly a beautiful and well kept residential area (Quinta do Lago), but maybe it lackes of services in the near surroudings - evreything needs to be done by car.

Not a great deal

it had several cranes around it, workmen all day, the kitchen was scruffy, the place was tired. I had to call to get the pool cleaned it was rough, my daughter got an ear infection. The games room flooded as the drains were blocked, need I go on the list is endless. Shocking disregard for the people renting the property the noise was horrendous. totally mis sold will be making an official complaint.
