Zen & Tan Apartment

A beautiful period property which has been refurbished to an exceptional standard. In a great location, the property has lots of space, high quality furnishings, comfy beds and lounge area. Also has access to a small pool which was perfect for cooling off!

Nothing, would book again. The flat itself is accessible using a lift so you don’t have to carry cases etc upstairs. Once inside the flat there is a spiral staircase to the upper bedrooms that could be tricky for young children or those with mobility issues.

The apartment is in a perfect location, just a short walk away from restaurants, bars and the waterfront, yet in a really quiet area. It is huge and beautifully designed. It comfortably sleeps 7 people and the 3 bathrooms were essentially for our group of 4 women. The outdoor terrace was a real treat, as was the pool (although we didn’t actually use it). The apartment is really well equipped, large and bright, modern furniture and a great kitchenette. Our host Renata couldn’t have been more helpful, her WhatsApp recommendations were gratefully received. Overall this is a fantastic apartment in a lovely town, I would highly recommend it and will happily stay there again.

The only niggle is the pigeons on the roof! They have nested under the solar panels and seem to have a party at 4am, waking those up in the upstairs bedroom and mezzanine. I don’t know if the management company can do anything to fix this, but if they did it would really help.

Old building with high ceilings , tastefully renovated, great location for getting into the town centre ( 5’ walk) and marina. The host was great at communicating with us and answering our questions and very accommodating in terms of our arrival time. The rooms were spacious and clean and so were the bathrooms. The pillows were good ( a selection of thinner and thicker ones). The downstairs bed mattress was quite firm and the upstairs ones were a bit softer , but both were comfortable. The kitchen had the basic utensils.

The pool area could do with a bit more attention as it’s quite small . Maybe it would have been nice to have offered a selection of teas, have a bottle of cold water in the fridge, and some extra toiletries ( conditioner and body lotion) in the bathrooms . The small balcony on the middle floor had a table and two chairs and had been washed but the pigeons were quite quick at making their mark. I don’t think I would have used it ..

petite remarque constructive : dans la liste des accessoires disponibles dans l'appartement, il faudrait ajouter le sèche-cheveux. Nous en avions pris un dans nos bagages alors qu'il y en avait un dans chaque salle de douche.
