Faro Downtown by MY CHOICE

Everything about the apartment is perfect. The location could not be better. It is spotlessly clean and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sofa is comfortable. The bed is extremely comfortable, one of the best mattresses we have ever found away from home. The door codes made entry very simple, with no key to worry about losing. Some have commented about noise but we didn’t find it intrusive, and after all you are in a busy location. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, right in the very center of Faro, in the pedestrian area. The apartment is on the second floor, but there is an elevator. It is newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. The apartment is split over two levels, so one of the bedrooms is upstairs, with a few steps leading to it. There is air conditioning in every room, although we did not need to use it. The beds and bed linen were excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped if you would like to cook during your stay. Coffee and tea were also provided. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher, and both dishwasher liquid and laundry detergent were available as well. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of great Portuguese wine, which was a lovely gesture. Check-in was easy, as the hosts provided us with codes for both the building and the apartment. One useful thing to know is that, to open the apartment door, you need to turn the knob with the code, not the regular door handle. We did not realize this at first and had to call the host early on Saturday morning, at around 6:00 a.m., but the lady on the phone was polite and supportive. Thank you for that! One evening, there was quite a lot of noise coming from the restaurant below the apartment. Fortunately, the party ended by 9:30 p.m., so we were able to rest without any problems.
