FARO DOWNTOWN STUDIOS

Excellent location - literally a couple of minutes from the marina, shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was very nicely decorated and had everything you could want. We had a lovely stay!

Amazing location close to Old Town, the marina and the train station. Apartment had everything you need, well equipped, modern and comfortable. Communication very good with staff.

No complaints

Central location (close to train and bus station) Easy Checkin you just get the keys from the Lockbox (Even though the number was difficult to read...but i checked google maps before so I knew which door it was). Easy Checkout you just leave the keys in the same lockbox 11:00 A.M.) although i've never met the Owner once...Owner doesn't respond immediately though but usually does on the same day. Contact is only through booking messaging (no personal contact). Cleaning lady was spot on at 11:00 A.M. at the door so make sure you leave the apartment before 11:00 A.M. full size kitchen available for hot water, Nespresso, basic cooking nicely decorated apartment with full furniture (most stuff are from Ikea but it does the job...can't be too picky during your vacation) it's super close to restaurants so getting breakfast/lunch is easy! everything is just minutes away so no need for Bolt or Uber. You can also take the Flixbus (Buy your tickets online) to go for a day trip to Portimao or Albufeira if you're fed up with Faro city (7 min walk from the apartment)

Sound isolation...if you're a light sleeper then definitely think about this. Road noise, people walking past the apartments, people opening doors/showering is very loud...it all depends on what you can tolerate. Sometimes you also hear full conversations from the neighbours upstairs which also indicates sound isolation is not present. if you're in apartment 3 and there are neighbours above you (in the attic) when they walk around it's like they're walking inside your apartment...typical sounds of attic walking. In my opinion this is a mistake to make the attic floor like a wooden floor... but luckily the neighbours were there only for 2 nights (we stayed 4 nights) so we had peace in the last 2 nights. just remember you're in for a treat if you're in apartment 3 and there are neighbours above you... Beds are okay not the best beds i've slept in but passable also the choice of bed sheets would have preferred a white sheets but that's personal. pillows are allright. using outdoor/garden tiles for inside the apartment kinda makes the apartment cheap...but that's also a personal taste. The small garden can't really be counted as a garden...it was also next to 4 AC units and well it's an outdoor area but it's liked walled in (no view) but perfect for people that wants to have a smoke or something.
