Everything, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast, personal hopitality - general ambience. One of the best places, in many many years. Will be sure to book again when the occasion arrises - no looking elsewhere. It was great.

The room was wonderful, we liked the plentiful wood interior The porch was also enjoyable. The room was generously large.

We had a continental breakfast - rolls and jam with coffee and tea, we could have used more to start our day.

La Cense Pierrot des Princes is an excellent Chambre d'hote with several rooms. The one we were allocated had a seperate shower room and a spa bath as well as a small terrace overlooking the main courtyard. It appeared to have been updated quite recently and was very comfortable. It is in a quiet location in the regional park with reasonable access to St Amand, Tournai, Douai and Valanciennes with a small number of restaurants within 5 minutes drive. The hosts are excellent and the breakfast includes a lot of local produce.

The water pressure is quite low, so the shower is not powerful and the spa bath takes a long time to fill.

Breakfast was simple but good local sourced and some homemade elements. The town is very lovely, typical rural Fance and the people are very friendly. Our female hostess spoke good English and did all she could to make us feel welcome

breakfast was great, the balcony was a great bonus, and the jacusi bath tub was great. Especially, the owner gave us a tour of the dairy farm and we saw a baby calf!

Everything was just fine. The owner was very kind. She took her time and showed us her location. We found the stay very comfortable. We as family enjoyed it. Breakfast was very good. Thank you! We would recommend it.

Superb

Cozy, location( quiet, 3km from the village), very nice trip to the farm which was wonderful. Host did not speak good English but 5 stars for finding a way to communicate.

Not covid friendly - property organized some gathering/ party with 20-30 people, none of them guests, in the lobby, giving us no options to reach to our room but to literally push trough the crowd.

Exceptional

Very nice modern rooms. We were in the junior suite. Quiet, great location to stay on your way from NL to a location in France. Really nice hostess, and made no problem that we had our 6yr old with us (for some reason on booking.com sometimes children are not on the final reservation confirmation, even when you selected so)

Would be great if the host would speak some English, but héy, you can’t have it all 😄 Breakfast had GREAT croissants, good coffee and fresh jam. But nothing else, so no cheese or ham. Ohw, and an additional outlet near the bed, as everyone had a phone to charge nowadays.

l'accueil, le cadre et la magie du lieu (surtout en cette période de noel ou la déco ... Whaouuuuu) .... le petit-déjeuner… difficile de ne pas vouloir se faire adopter par la maîtresse des lieux tant tout est frais fait maison et excellent.

L’authenticité du lieu et son histoire. L’amabilité de nos hôtes, lesquels partagent volontiers l’amour de leur travail. La proposition de la visite de la ferme, lesquels partagent volontiers suggestions de balades et de restaurants. Le petit déjeuner convivial et délicieux. Le roucoulement des pigeons au coucher et au lever et les mésanges au petit déjeuner, 😉

Der Aufenthalt war äußerst angenehm. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Das gewählte Appartement ist großzügig geschnitten und äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet - wie der Rest des gesamten Gebäudes und des umliegenden Geländes auch. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Gastgeberin sehr freundlich.

Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wunderschön! Das Frühstück mit vielen hausgemachten Produkten ist so gut, das es besser nicht sein könnte. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich freundlich. Hier hin sollte man definitiv mal kommen.

Charmante maison, dont la ferme avec près de 400 vaches non loin de la maison. C'était complètement dépaysant. Le couple de propriétaires très sympathique et le petit déjeuner fait de produits de la ferme, dont un jus de pomme excellent.

Superdik in orde

Zeer vlot bereikbaar, fantastisch mooi : het gebouw, de kamers, de tuin. Het hele verhaal rond de restauratie. Zeer vriendelijk, precies of je thuis komt. Nee, er is geen kaas bij het ontbijt, maar al de rest is meer dan in orde. Ik heb liever appelsap dan sinaasappelsap, mij hoor je echt niet klagen.
