Peaceful countryside retreat, just right for a break in our journey south. We really appreciated the generous breakfast (plus bag to pack up leftovers for onward trip). The room was spacious, comfortable and cool, very welcome after a drive in 30+ degree heat. Our hosts were lovely and friendly. Highly recommended. Have added WhatThreeWords photo to help as our satnav took us way off track when clicking Booking.com's link for directions...for some reason it led us down a tiny country lane on the opposite side of Vivoin, ten minutes away from the property. Luckily we met a lovely man collecting bins and he kindly let us follow him in his car to our destination!

This is one of our firm favourites for overnight stop on route to our holiday home in the Charente Maritime. very comfortable accommodation and warm and friendly couple who welcome you to their home. Great breakfast and supper if you arrange before you arrive.

The breakfast was amazing and came with a doggy bag for all the crepe to have on our journey, Marylou & Thomas were lovely very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very rustic & quirky.
