An amazing and very beautifully decorated old house with real character. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival by the hostess. She recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner and offered us an aperitif beforehand. the house is in the center of historic Alençon in easy walking distance of interesting sights. The breakfast was excellent. We loved our stay here.
I couldn't find a fault with anything.

Probably the most beautiful building/room we stayed in on our French road trip. Tasteful decoration throughout, luxurious feel to furnishings in the bedroom. Good location for walking into town, secure parking. Breakfast was good
We had booked a room with aircon- very thankful because we stayed during a heatwave. However, only the top floor rooms had aircon so it was a climb up two flights of winding stairs to reach our room. We managed, but quite a struggle for two OAP's with a big case However, the room was beautiful and worth the climb

Delightful staff and convenient location. House beautifully restored to a high spec with classy interior design. Breakfast good.
Our room on the top floor rather cramped but having peeped into some of the other rooms they looked amazing. Definitely worth paying for an upgrade.
