Clean stay close to shops & train station

Location was great short walk to asda, b&m & many other shops. Also only a short drive to Larbert Train Station so we got the train in to Edinburgh. The apartment was clean and modern. Hosts were friendly and check in was easy and convenient. Would definitely book to stay again.

Apartment was clean and tidy, with parking next to property (as long as you don't have a low car as you have to mount pavement) and right on a junction so you have to be careful. Location once we got our bearings was fine.

Looks better in photos, outside needs some TLC, bits of wood etc lying next to gate and lots of weeds etc plus bags of rubbish lying on ground on arrival...not a great first impression! Inside just needs a bit more TLC too, workmanship in some areas not good, TV not many channels although we weren't in much, maybe a lamp rather than only having the bright main light in living room and a dressing table/drawers needed in bedroom to put toiletries etc on.

Most aspects of this flat were very good - totally fine for our required purpose (Family Funeral)

The location for my son & I was superb, very close to family for a Funeral and also to the Wheel, Antonine's Wall and the Kelpies. Very handy Supermarket and Butcher. Very quiet location, good outlook.

1 glass cracked, 1blind broken in hall, Only 2 bath towels provided, no hand towel or tea towel. Cutlery mismatched and not very clean. no mirror in 1 bedroom, no fan in bathroom - bad condensation after just 1 shower

I was touring Scotland with my husband in our camper van but I had a huge flare up of Lymphoedema in my legs and needed somewhere I could go and rest with my feet up for a couple of days so I checked myself in to the apartment. This place would have been perfect if I was just using it as a base but because I needed to rest and elevate I found it lacking in home comforts. The tv was very small and wasn’t a smart TV so I couldn’t even connect my phone to watch Netflix of movies and instead I was stuck with basic channels, I thought smart TVs were the basic norm these days? There was 4 single beds and there was one made up in each room, I was a solo traveler so this was grand but I found the bed very uncomfortable but I am a large lady so this didn’t help. The apartment was very clean and the fire in the sitting room was lovely and warm.

I think I would have been happier if both beds in the room were made up so I could have pushed them together. I’d suggest investing in a better TV, it was very small and the speakers appear to have blown so the tv would rattle if the volume was turned up.

The flat its self was clean and tidy. The cleaning product provided. The cookery facilities are good—only a short walk to shops—everything you may need for a wee break away.
