Navona Hi-Tech Apartment

This room is located in the centre of Rome, making it convenient for getting around. All the facilities in the room worked perfectly. The bed was also very comfortable. Although our stay coincided with an August heatwave where temperatures exceeded 36 degrees, the room was comfortably air-conditioned. However, as the air-conditioner is old, it is rather noisy. If you leave it running whilst sleeping at night, it might be a bit of a nuisance for those who are sensitive to noise.

Please be careful not to trip over the lower metal guide of the top-hung sliding doors. The guide in the centre of the kitchen sink is particularly dangerous. If you kick it whilst barefoot, you could injure yourself. We had wrapped a cushion around it during our stay, but we still managed to kick it a few times. There is no elevator to the room that locates on the second floor (3rd floor in US).

Great location , spacious, good amenities plus wifi and aircon worked well.

Magnifique petit appartement en plein cœur du centre historique. Les photos sont tout à fait conformes : il est cosy, bien agencé et, un luxe à Rome, situé au calme (sans compter une bonne literie) pour des nuits sereines ! Au niveau équipements, il est relativement complet même si nous n’avons fait qu’y (petit)déjeuner. Enfin l’airco nous a sauvé la vie en ces chaudes et intenables journées de juillet ! Au niveau de son emplacement : outre plusieurs sites d’intérêt à proximité - relativement - immédiate (place Navona, Château St Ange, Campo dei Fiori etc), il offre aussi le côté pratique d’un Carrefour Express et d’un « stow your luggage » (pour stocker les bagages le dernier jour en cas de vol tardif vu check out à 10h) à 5 minutes de marche tout au plus. Dvt le Carrefour Express, plusieurs lignes de bus permettant d’aller en de nombreux points plus distants. Enfin à la demande, ils peuvent réserver le taxi depuis Fiumicino vers l’appartement le 1e jour (NB : par contre, pour le retour, on m’a fait comprendre de réserver moi-mm - en l’occurrence je l’ai fait via une offre Booking, moins chère qu’à l’aller…)

Rien c’était parfait. Néanmoins si on voulait vraiment trouver de petits points d’amélioration encore, ce serait peut-être : un rouleau d’essuie-tout et un petit essuie pour les mains dans la cuisine ainsi que du liquide vaisselle pour une vaisselle rapide à la main (si on ne veut pas utiliser systématiquement le lave-vaisselle pour 2 tasses et 3 couverts)

The apartment is well-equipped with modern tech, and everything worked smoothly – from the Wi-Fi to the kitchen appliances. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the Roman heat; it worked perfectly and kept the place pleasantly cool. A special mention goes to Cristina from the staff – she was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we arrived.

The cleanliness upon arrival wasn't up to standard – it seemed the cleaner had rushed through, and a few areas could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Also, the electrical sockets felt a bit worn out and didn't always hold plugs securely, which was slightly inconvenient. The light bulbs flickered occasionally, though nothing major.
