Wonderful hosts on a beautiful rustic farm. Great location. We could buy fresh milk and cheese from the farm. Wonderful Terrance with astounding mountain views. Dishwasher was very useful, and other facilities were great, more than what we needed. We were provided with a guest card with many useful benefits, which the hosts explained clearly.

Although very warm, the bed is not very firm, was not a big thing for us.

10/10 Property for 1-2 people. - Excellent location: Just an eight-minute walk from Burglaunen train station, with easy connections to Grindelwald in under ten minutes and onward to Interlaken. The hosts also provide a complimentary Grindelwald Guest Card, which includes unlimited train travel between Grindelwald and Burglaunen as well as bus rides within Grindelwald. - Very clean: The unit was exceptionally clean. - Beautiful views: The property looks out over picturesque pastures with wonderful mountain views, making for a lovely setting. - Well-equipped kitchen: The kitchen had essentially everything we needed, including plenty of crockery and cutlery, as well as a good-sized fridge with ample space for a few days' worth of groceries. - Convenient parking: The property has a spacious car park, making it very convenient if arriving or exploring the area by car. - Lovely, helpful hosts: Bruno and his mother are wonderful hosts and both speak excellent English. They gave a very helpful rundown of the local train system, including where to wait and how everything works, and were readily available if anything was needed during our stay. As they are local dairy farmers, they also invited me to sample some cheeses; however, I was not able to find time for this during my busy itinerary. - Good Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at the property and worked well during the stay.

A couple of minor suggestions: - Reminding guests to bring own shampoo & shower gel: bringing own toiletry is to be expected from home rentals; however, it wouldn't hurt to remind guests ahead of arrival to prevent surprises - A floor towel in the bathroom to dry feet after showers - A more powerful hair dryer

Beautiful and perfect location in the valley. The family was so nice and even allowed us to buy milk or cheese from them (cow farm). Right next to the train station

Great location, clean, and easily accessible to the train station. Onsite parking and a small kitchen inside the apartment.

Owner’s Mother greated us at check in and gave us a brief tour. At check in we were notified to keep showers short due to limitations on hot water. Also to keep barhroom door open when showering due to some issues with the steam. We got a knock on the door the second day informing us we left one of the lights on during the night and to keep all lights off at night due to an increase in electricity costs. If you are renting a stay, there should not be limitations such as this or it should be noted on the description before booking.
