Bright 2.5-room apartment in a newly built two-family chalet (built in 2010). 3 * star superior standard for vacation apartment Classification Swiss Tourism Federation, 37m2 living area, free parking, free Internet access via Wi-Fi. The apartment is located on the ground floor with a separate sitting area and a beautiful view of the mountains. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, capsule coffee machine (Delizio), filter coffee machine and kettle (fondue or raclette dishes we lend on request), dining table and living room. Separate bedroom, shower / WC, TV / radio. Pets not allowed, Non smoking. 2 minutes to the ski and local bus stop, 5 minutes to Maennlichenbahn with skis.

Karin and family were so welcoming and were great hosts. We loved the welcome signs and notes in the house. Karin went above and beyond printing some additional recommendations for us. We had a great time during our stay and the location was perfect. The house is located at the terminal stop before the main downtown area but the buses and trains made it super easy to see everything we wanted while being in a less touristy area of the town. It’s a 5 minute walk directly off the train to the house and the coop is located inside the station.There were just two of us so we had plenty of room and really enjoyed relaxing on the patio with a great view of the Eiger. I’d highly recommend this property for your stay in Grindelwald.

This fantastic one-bedroom apartment that exceeded my expectations. The place was impeccably clean and had a modern design, making it a very comfortable retreat. The cooking facilities were a great addition; we enjoyed preparing our own meals and loved having breakfast and dinner while taking in the stunning mountain views from the windows. The location couldn't be better, with all transport options, only a few minutes walk away, making it easy to explore the area. Our host, Karin, was incredibly accommodating and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. She also provided us with great advice for catching public transport. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a convenient getaway in the lovely Bernese Oberland!

We loved our stay with in the appartment from family Blum. You have everyting you need in this appartment and you have a lot of space, in and out door. Karin is a very hospitable, helps you with every question! And even did the dishes because de dishwasher was broken. We absolutyely recommend this place for a stay in the wonderfull Grindelwald. Not in the crouwded centre but still between the beautiful mountains.

The bed so comfortable , the apartment beautifully clean and well equipped . Access to the lift terminal , supermarket, and gondolas literally across the road made for a perfect stay . My wife and I immensely enjoyed our stay in Grindelwald in this super comfy, convenient, apartment. The hosts were so kind and went out of their way to help us with any detail we wondered about. The apartment is a great location and has excellent views across the Grindelwald valley sitting at the foot of the Eiger. We loved sitting outside on the covered patio for any moment we could while we were there. Even in the consistent rain, we loved the patio! Though we were gone much of the time enjoying the many sights of the region-we absolutely felt relaxed in the private, quiet, cozy apartment. It had everything we needed; full kitchen to prepare some meals, ample space to spread out and a nice hot shower at the end of the day. I also liked the many windows, enjoying the fresh mountain air during our stay. I thought the bed and furnishings were comfortable, though frankly we were gone more than we were there! The bed was comfy and we were glad it was firm to support our tired backs from all the hiking we did. We loved the proximity to the Grindelwald Terminal, only minutes away on foot, led to our adventures across the region. The Terminal also has a COOP grocery with just about any item needed for a brief stay-super convenient! Karin was always available for a question or to ask an opinion of and was most gracious to allow us to have access to laundry and anything we might need. We both said, "When are we coming back?" Even before we left.

This stay exceeded our expectations! The view from the home is amazing and refreshing to see at anytime of the day or evening. The location is perfect and provides so many opportunities, experiences, restaurants, and picturesque walks on a variety of beautiful trails nearby. The hosts are kind, quick to respond, and provide top notch hospitality. We hope to return for another visit again and would definitely want to stay here!

This lovely apartment in a typical Swiss chalet, had everything we needed and the hosts Karin & Niklaus, who live on site were most helpful. The location is superb - 3 minutes walk to the railway platform, so ideal for trips to the mountains or Interlaken and beyond. A further two minute walk from the station all undercover, took us to the cable cars for Eigergletcher and Mannlichen, and the local buses. My boyfriend and I stayed in the apartment for a few days in early December. It’s exactly as advertised and the location is awesome! Just steps away from the train station and gondola, making it very easy to get around. Karin was very responsive and super nice. We cooked a fair amount so definitely made use of much of the equipment in the kitchen. Would absolutely recommend!

From the moment we entered your tastefully appointed apartment we knew we had made the right choice when we booked the Blum’s apartment. Thank you Karin for being so helpful; many times we walked into town using the upper weg, that walk is so peaceful with a spectacular view. Great location, very close to trains, buses and the two major cable cars. We’ve never rated a holiday rental 5-stars, but the Blum’s apartment was perfect in every way. Perfect apartment for our stay in Beautiful Grindelwald . The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Just a short walk from the Terminal train stop and the Gondolas. Karin made us feel welcome with a bottle of wine and chocolate. Gave us all the information about the local free transport and answered all our questions. Would highly recommend.

10 minutes walk from Grund Station and the Mannlichen chair lift makes this an ideal location for using a Regional Pass. Amazing views of the Eiger. The apartment is clean and the owners friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

We are so grateful that we were able to stay at Karin's amazing apartment! She picked us up at the train station, gave us recommendations on what hikes to do in Grindelwald, and was an extremely kind host. The apartment has a spectacular view of the Eiger and is walking distance from the main part of Grindelwald. It is clean, modern, and spacious and perfect for a mountain getaway.

We had a great stay in the apartment of family Blum. They have a very new and clean apartment with a great functioning kitchen, lounge and bedroom. The bathroom has little storage, but there is plenty of storage in the rest of the apartment. They also have storage for your ski/snowboard equipment. There is a busstop close by (3 min walk) to First, Mannlichen bahn and Grund train station - so perfect if you want to try all the slopes in Grindelwald. Bus is available until the evening, so also possible if you want to eat in the village - we walked back to the apartment, which is also only a 15 min walk in the fresh air. All in all they were great hosts and we have been very lucky to find this apartment.

We loved staying at Chalet Blum, it was the perfect place to stay while in the Berner Oberland. Karin is a wonderful hostess and made sure that everything was as we thought it should be, you can tell that she truly cared about our comfort and experience. The apartment was absolutely spotless, like it was brand new, not a speck of dirt. Karin offered to pick us up from the train station when we arrived so we didn't have to deal carrying our luggage and she dropped us back off at the station at the end of our stay. The apartment has everything you need to cook your own meals (except the food) and the grocery store was within walking distance, although you do get a free bus pass and can take it to the grocery store, if you would like. It is very quiet and enjoyable at the apartment, it even has a nice patio to sit out and enjoy the beautiful views. Staying at Chalet Blum was very reasonably priced and if we are ever in the area again, we will most certainly stay at Chalet Blum. This was our first time staying with VRBO and Karin has made it a fabulous experience.

My husband and I and our toddler stayed her for four nights in September. What a wonderful place! The apartment is new and clean, with good view of Eiger. The kitchen is equipped with amenities for cooking and the sitting area comfortable. Karin provided a high chair and cot for our toddler which was very helpful. She is a wonderful host and has provided and information booklet about the area in the apartment. Not only was the location close to the bus stop, Mannlichenbahn and train, but Karin is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. And the place is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here!

Man kann auf den Männlichen fahren und oben auf die kleine Scheidegg wandern und hinab ins Tal entlang der Eiger Nordwand wandern. (N'Traum)Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt bei Familie Blum.

Die Kommunikation vor der Abreise war sehr hilfreich in der Planung. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Die Lage der Wohnung ist phänomenal wie auch die Aussicht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ließ an nichts mangeln, um sich selber zu versorgen. Wir freuen uns schon drauf wieder zu kommen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Problemloses Check In. Schöne gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung für 2 Personen. Ideal gelegen 3 Fussminuten neben dem Terminal Grindelwald mit Bahnen und kleinem Einkaufsladen. Auch First Bahn ist mit dem Bus problemlos zu erreichen. Sehr schöne saubere, helle und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit schöner Aussicht auf die Eigernordwand und die umliegenden Berge aus allen Fenstern und von der Terrasse! Dazu sehr verkehrsgünstige Lage direkt am Terminal, man kann problemlos den öffentlichen Verkehr nutzen und aufs Auto verzichten. Auch ein Supermarkt mit frischem Brot und Brötchen ist im Terminal vorhanden. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und geben gute Tipps für schöne Wanderungen, etc. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden immer wieder dorthin fahren.

Voor twee personen is dit een hele fijne vakantiewoning op een goede locatie in een prachtige omgeving. Net iets buiten het centrum, iets verhoogd boven de straat en dichtbij bushalte, trein en liften. Auto kun je dus laten staan. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die werkelijk alles voor je willen doen.
